Evening at Whiskeytown Lake with friends

This morning, Daddy went fishing, so, it was just us girls.  We thought we would have some fun by making cookies to take with us to the lake this evening.  We both love to help mom bake and are such great helpers!

Mommy got a new portable BBQ for her birthday and wanted to try it out.  It is always a lot more fun at the lake with friends, so, we invited Allie's family to join us for the evening at Whiskeytown.  While mom and dad brought all the stuff down, I hung out with Sara!

We put our puddle jumpers and goggles on and headed straight into the cold water.  We love to play in the water!

We had a blast playing in the water together.  Splashing around and just being silly!

We were shivering most of the time, but that didn't stop us from playing!  It is still early into the swim season, so, the lake water hasn't warmed up quite yet.  

I was excited that my deer chair came out.  I had a great time sitting in it and watching those crazy girls play in the lake.  

We brought the kayak out to play with and Isaac and Elijah had a great time paddling around!

We barbecued up some hamburgers for dinner and sure enjoyed them.  It was a good time to come in from the lake and warm up.  We sure had a fun evening with our friend at the lake.
