Christmas lights

December 17, 2015
We have a tradition of getting all bundled up and going out for a walk in the evening and looking at Christmas lights.  There is a house that puts on a spectacular Christmas light show that is walking distance from our house.  It has been quite rainy here lately, so, when there was a break in the rain tonight we decided tonight would be a perfect time to go.  We are all bundled up with our tea in hand ready to spot some lights.
We were quite mesmerized by the light show.  It was very fun to watch.
We couldn't take our eyes off it!
There was so much to see that I wanted to get out of the stroller and have Daddy lift me up, so, I could see it all!
Here we are in front of the light show.
I enjoyed drinking my tea while watching the show.
Here is a picture of the light show.  It is so fun to see every year.

December 19, 2015
We had such a great time seeing Christmas lights this year we decided to pile in the truck and go find some around town.
We had a great time seeing some of Redding's finest.  Our favorite was a barn that they decorate.  It was pretty spectacular.

Christmas tea!

December 14, 2015
Yesterday when mom went to the grocery store she picked me up a special treat.  Last year around Christmas I was introduced to grapefruit and I was sure a fan on it!  Mom thought she would see if I still loved it as much this year.
I am going to go with yep.  I still love grapefruit.  I gobbled it all up with a smile on my face almost the whole time!
Thanks mom for such a yummy snack today!  I can't wait to have more later!
Mom and I had fun playing and getting ready for our Christmas tea that we were going to have after preschool.  I was all smiles for her this morning!
Lucky thing mom had her camera out for the grapefruit since I was in a posing mood today.
Mom and I had fun playing Zingo together.  I love to play games right now, so, when mom asks me what I want to do it is usually play some type of game with her.
I got to call out the cards, which, made it a lot easier for me to claim them even if mom called them first.  Oh the entertainment of playing games with a three year old!
We had fun making food for the tea.  We made some Christmas trees with veggies and a wreath made out of grapes.  It wouldn't be a Christmas tea without fun Christmas themed food!
Two of McKenzie's good little buddies from Pre-K, Allie and Hallie, came over after school to join us for the tea party!
We sure had fun drinking our Sugar Cookie Sleigh ride tea in our snowmen tea pot and eating our Christmas shaped grilled cheese sandwiches.
After we finished our tea we decorated some Christmas trees!  I had a great time trying to get my tree all covered with the green frosting.
This is Hallie.  I have had the greatest time getting to know her and become friends with her at Pre-K this year.  Hallie, Allie, and I have a blast playing together!
Sara (Allie's Mom) brought over some of her left over Halloween candy for us to use to decorate our trees.  The leftover Halloween candy works perfect for crafts like these!
Allie is excited to start decorating her second tree.
We had so much fun drinking tea, eating lunch, decorating our trees, and just playing together.  The Christmas tea was a big success.
I am almost done decorating my trees!  Then I think getting all washed up will be in order.
Here are my finished Christmas trees.  I did such a great job on them that a couple of days later Scout decided to eat them.
Hallie did a beautiful job decorating her trees.  It was sure fun to have her over to our house for the first time.
Such a sweet picture of Allie in front of her trees.  I am glad that my friends where able to come over, so, I could host a tea for them!

Decorating gingerbread houses

December 13, 2015
This evening we were invited over to Araya and Paisley's house to decorate gingerbread houses.  Here is my gingerbread house all ready to decorate.
As soon as I get some frosting I am all ready to start decorating this thing!
Hmm, how do I get this frosting out?
I got some out, but now it is on my finger and not on my gingerbread house.
I had fun decorating the Christmas tree with green frosting.
The frosting ended up everywhere.  On my hands, my face, my dress, you name it and it probably had frosting on it.
I had great concentration trying to get the tree frosted just right.
Here is my finished gingerbread house.  It was sure fun to decorate.
Here is my finished gingerbread house and a silly face to go with it.  We sure had fun decorating gingerbread houses with our friends.

Trimming our best Christmas tree yet!

December 10, 2015
Our tree has been up for a couple of days now, but we have not had a chance to decorate it yet.  When Dad got home from work he got down the Christmas stuff from the attic in the garage, so, we could decorate our tree.  Here is our tree before we begun to decorate it.
Our tree was so tall that we had to cut a little off the top for the star to fit on!  Lucky thing we have a tall ladder to use to get the lights and star on the top.
While the lights were being hung we had fun checking out all of our ornaments.
I was excited about my Minnie ornament and the Donald Duck one.
I wanted the first ornament that I hung up to be my Cinderella one.
When the lights got low enough mom took over getting them on the branches.  Daddy thought he would try out Mom's new camera.
The lights are hung and all working which is good since they were all new.  The first ornament being hung on this years Christmas tree.
We worked well together getting all the ornaments on the tree.
I was very sad that I had to take a little break from decorating the tree.  It is rough to be potty trained and not have a diaper anymore!
Daddy brought a chair out for us to stand on, so, all the ornaments wouldn't be on the bottom.  I got to hang one of Mom's Volunteer Snowmen.
I snuck in on the side to fill the side up and some of the back.  We wanted to get the whole tree covered with ornaments.
Here is our 2015 Christmas tree all decorated.  We were pretty excited about how nice of a tree it turned out to be.
Of course we needed a photo of the two of us in front of the tree.
Today while we napped mom finally got around to getting the rest of the house decorated for Christmas.  She found the Santa hat we have and I wanted to try it on.
I was pretty excited to see all the Christmas decorations up.
One more of me before I had to take the hat off and share it with my sister.
The many silly faces I make with a Santa hat on.
A nice smile.
A scary face.
And end it off with a sweet picture.
