A little quality time with Daddy before I get dressed again.
It is amazing how quickly they will grow and not fit in your arms anymore.
Mommy wanted home-aid maple bars like she remembers having when she was little, so Grammy made us some. I am very excited to be able to try a warm fresh maple bar.
It sure is yummy! I keep wanting to take bite after bite. I ate it right up and wanted another one, but Mommy said only one! I can't wait until Grammy makes us maple bars again.
Grammy finished knitting my Christmas stocking and I am trying it on. I think it is a little bit to big for my foot, but think of all the loot that will fit in it.
McKenzie came to lay with me. I am so fun to hold.
I just adore my big sister. I can't take mt eyes off of her.
Best friends all ready. Nothing like sister love.
I wanted to hold her again. I just can't get enough of her.
I seriously love bath time. It is so relaxing that it put me right to sleep.
Today is Daddy's 33rd birthday. To start the celebration we took him to Ihop for breakfast. We enjoyed eating some pancakes.
All day Daddy kept asking when he got to open presents. We finally let him after dinner. I hope he likes what we got him.
He thought that he was going to open his own gifts. Silly Daddy, those days are over.
I guess we can open then together.
Daddy wanted an ice cream cake for his birthday dessert. I helped him blow out his candles. The ice cream cake was sure yummy.
I found these dress-up hats in my room while I was playing with Granpy. He is always such a good sport. Here we are modeling them. We sure do look nice in our fancy hats. Happy Birthday Daddy! I hope you had a great birthday week!
I guess there is a tradition in my house that at 2 weeks you have your picture taken with a giant giraffe and then every month after that. Here are some pictures from my first giraffe photo-op.
Just for fun mommy put in a couple of pictures from McKenzie's first giraffe pictures.
Nothing like taking a nap with Granpy. He is the best to nap with. We are even poising together.
All relaxed and comfy!
Nothing is as sweet as a newborn baby sleeping.
I really enjoyed making cookies with Grammy. Yep this cookie dough is good!
Need to make sure that I got all of the cookie dough off the spatula.
Fall finally started to come and the leaves from the big tree out front started to fall. This morning my Granpy went out and raked the fallen leaves into a big pile for me to play in.
Here is a video of me having a blast while playing in the leaves.
It was so much fun to throw the leaves up and have them come down on me. I would squeal with delight.
I would sit down in them and cover myself up in them. It was such a fun game to play.
Daddy and I had so much fun throwing leaves into the air.
After Daddy and I would throw the leaves everywhere, Granpy would rake them up into a pile again.
I wanted to help rake up the leaves. It was hard work.
Daddy and I decided to lay down in the leaves.
Makayla came out to play in the leaves. I think she came out for the photo op more than to play. Next year we will have fun playing in the leaves together.
This is my idea of playing in the leaves. They sure do make a nice comfy bed.
I loved laying in the leaves with daddy. I even have a smile on my face.
Mommy's turn to hang out with me.
A family photo to remember our time playing in the leaves together.
