End of the soccer season party!

 October 18, 2014
Today, was our last soccer game of the season!  We had a lot of fun this season and to celebrate the end of it, since it was mom's turn for snack, she did a fruit parfait bar.  It was probably the healthiest end of the season treat of any team, but we thought it was fantastic!
We had the gluten free nut safe granola that we made the night before with Greek yogurt and a variety of fruit to put in it!  We at first and then a lot of us went back for seconds!
Shiloh, Collin, and I enjoyed ours together!
It hit the spot.  After we ate our parfaits,  Mom handed out our medals to us!
We tried to get another team photo.  The one they took for the soccer pictures was highly entertaining.  The only people with smiles on their faces and looking actually at the camera were mom and coach Katie.  This one is a lot better than the other one!
One with us doing our Mountain lion roar!  How we loved to roar like Mountain Lions this year.  It was a lot of fun coaching these great kids!

Friday Night Lights!

October 17, 2014
It was a busy evening in our household tonight.  When mom came home from work, we had dinner, made some granola for my soccer game tomorrow, and then headed to a football game!  We had a lot of fun helping mommy make some gluten free and nut safe granola for my end of my soccer season party!
We headed down to Cottonwood tonight to watch West Valley's football game.  A friend of our family's plays for them and we have been talking about going and cheering him on.  His mom and dad said this would be a good game to come and watch!  We had fun watching the game and eating our popcorn!
I thought it was great to get to stay up late, eat some popcorn, and watch some football!
The best part for me was that Allie's family came to watch the game too, so, I had a friend to hang out with.  There is Andrew's (the person playing football) parents in the background photo bombing our picture!
We sure have a great time together!
I sure had a great time stomping around and eating popcorn in the bleachers!
I was snuggling in with mom, since, it was past my bedtime and Brian thought it would be fun if I came and snuggled with him!  We ended up laughing and I caught my second wind!
Allie and I really did have a great time together!
We really liked halftime where there were floats and dancing, since, it was homecoming.  We didn't end up staying for the whole game, because, West Valley ended up winning by quite a bit, but it was a nice evening for football!

A day off of preschool

October 16, 2014
McKenzie had the day off of preschool today. so, we met up with some friends at Turtle Bay.  As we were walking down to Little Explores, there was a man using a leaf blower that was loud.  We covered our ears, so that, the loud noise wouldn't damage our hearing.  I wonder where we picked that up from
As we were crossing the bridge, Sienna and Collin caught up to us.  Sienna was so sweet to hold my hand and make sure I made it down the hill safely.
It was opossum day at Little Explores, so, we had fun learning all about opossums.  We learned about how the moms carry their babies on their backs.  We even got baby opossums to carry around!
Collin, Sienna, and myself pretending to be Mom opossums!
After that, we learned about how opossums live in their mom's pouch when they are first born and are very very tinny.  We got a pouch to put on to carry our baby opossum in.
Allie got there and joined right in on the opossum fun!
I got a pouch too, which, I wanted to wear around me neck.  I had fun putting my baby opossum in my pouch.
A sweet smile for the camera!
Afterwards, we headed outside to play.  We did a lot of playing and even went to check out the cool toyopia exhibit that had the history of toys and a bunch of toys that you could play with.  We will have to go back and check it out again, because, it was really cool and mom didn't get any pictures, since, her phone died and she forgot her other camera.

Scary Owl day at Turtle Bay!

October 9, 2014
Today, Mom and me had a fun morning together just the two of us.  First we took a little walk, then we headed to Turtle Bay for little explores.  We haven't been to Turtle Bay in a little while, so, mom thought it would be a fun place to go and play.  We did have a fun time despite it being owl day at little explores.  We read some books about owls, made an owl craft, and a barn owl came to visit us.  I was fascinated by the barn owl and watched it closely while mom petted my head telling me it was okay.  That was more for her than me, since, she finds owls to be scary animals!  At least, I didn't cry when the owl left like McKenzie, because, she liked it so much and didn't want to let it leave!  After playing, we had to head back to the car to pick up McKenzie from Preschool.  I thought I would see if my arms were longer than the bats!
I was excited to get to run across the big wood bridge!
Look at me go!  I was running so fast my tongue fell out of my mouth!
McKenzie always wants to stop and look through the binoculars, so, of course I wanted to stop and take a look!
Is this how they work?  Everything seems so small!
Here is the owl craft I made at little explores.  We sure had a great time.  I had so much fun that I asked to come back next week!

October 11, 2014
In Preschool, I have been learning Zoo Phonics to help me learn my letters and the sounds that they make.  They have an animal and a motion that goes with it.  When I come home we talk about them and do them.  It had been really fun because Makayla is learning them from me and we love to do them together.  Here are the ones that we have learned so far!

One last trip to the lake!

October 6, 2014
In October the weather here is still beautiful, so, we like to get in a last day at the lake.  It was even warm enough today for swim suits!
I am back with my buckets, sand, and water!  Such a happy place for me!
I sat down and played right at the beginning of the water and had a great time putting rocks in my bucket.  I was content for quite awhile!
Allie and I had fun getting ourselves wet with our buckets!
It was nice that it was warm enough to actually get into the water and swim around!
I needed some water for our creation!
A sweet picture with my good friends Collin and Allison!  I love to play with them!
We found a butterfly and had a great time watching him!
We chased him all around the shore!
It wouldn't be a morning at the lake without a picnic lunch!
The lake really is a fantastic place.  Buckets, water, sand, food, what more could a girl ask for!
I had fun watching the lake while I ate.  We had such a great time at the lake with our friends!

A sweet Mommy moment!

October 5, 2014
Today as mom was carrying me off to bed, I saw my pillow and asked for it.  Mommy grabbed it and put it on her shoulder, then I snuggled on it.
As we snuggled on the pillow, Mom asked Dad to get the camera and take a sweet picture of the two of us.  This is a sweet picture that she will always treasure!

Pumpkin Patch 2014!

October 4, 2014
Today is the day of our 5th annual Nash's pumpkin patch get together with our friends.  We got all dressed up and are ready to head out.  I got to wear the Minnie Mouse dress, which I have been excited about since trying it on the other day!  McKenzie went as Rapunzel, since, she has long blond hair.  She also borrowed her costume from Allison.  It was so nice of her to outfit us for the pumpkin patch this year!
Mom thought she would get a picture of us together before we went to the pumpkin patch, because, she didn't know if she would get one of the two of us while we were there.
We have our water and are just waiting for mom and dad to be ready!
When we got there and were waiting for everybody to show up, we went and found a wheelbarrow to put our pumpkins in.
Pumpkins or Makayla?  I had fun sitting in the wheelbarrow and getting pushed around!
We went to look at the petting zoo.  While standing there and watching the animals, a goat came over toward the fence and I don't think Makayla could have moved any quicker backwards away from the goat.  After that, we figured we would be better watching from the outside and not going in.
We both got into the wheelbarrow to get a ride over to the hay maze!
Daddy went into the maze to help Makayla make it through!
I had fun running the maze and seeing how fast I could make it through!  Look at me go!
Collin and I found our way out of the maze and then we had to get our annual picture taken together!  It is amazing how much we grow every year!
Here we all are, well most of us (Makayla, Jayden, and Elijah didn't make it in).  We have a lot of fun dressing up for the pumpkin patch!
Allison and I both went as princesses.  We have been dressing up as princesses a lot lately.  This time Allison went as the princess from Brave and I went as the princess from Tangled!
When mom asked me what I remembered about doing at the pumpkin patch last year I told her, "I remembered taking a picture with my head in the hole".   Of course, we had to stop to take some pictures with our heads in the holes, on our way out to find a pumpkin!
Since, there were three spots, Allie came to join in the fun.
A picture by the measuring pumpkin, so, we can see how much I grow every year!
This year I said that I wanted a pumpkin I could carry myself.  I was trying this one out to see if I could hold it.  I was able to carry it, but it wasn't the one I ended up with.
Daddy and I went out and found this perfect pumpkin.  Then mommy wanted a picture with me and my pumpkin, but I did not think that was such a good idea.  How sad is this face?
Mom came and picked me and the pumpkin up and that made me a little happier.  Here we are with my pumpkin.

There was a really big white pumpkin sitting out on the road, so, I had a little rest on it.
David and I find a really big pumpkin to pose on for a picture every year.  Katelyn came to join us this year.  That was a big white pumpkin to fit us all!
Here is the pumpkin that I ended up getting.  It was a little heavy, but I was able to hold it up!
This pumpkin might be a little too heavy for me.  Lets go and find the wheelbarrow to put the pumpkin in.
We had to get the pumpkins weighed, so, we could pay for them and take them home.  Mom tried to get a picture of us with our pumpkin's on the scale, but I thought she wanted me to sit by my pumpkin on the scale.
We wanted to head to the bouncy slide after that.  We had a great time sliding down together.  Here I go backwards!
It was a lot of work climbing up to the top, but well worth it!
Always a big smile when I got to the bottom.  Time to get off to do it again!
Nothing but pure joy!  The bouncy house was a blast!
I didn't get to go in the bouncy house, because, mom thought I wasn't quite old enough.  They did have a playground area that Mom took me to play in while the other kids were playing on the slide.  I found a bulldozer to drive.
My favorite thing was the really big tricycle that I rode around on!
I couldn't reach the pedals, so, I had mom push me around the play area!  Wee this is a fun ride!
The last thing we did before we headed to our house for dinner was to take the train ride.  We all found seats and are ready for the train to take off!
I climbed in up front next to my buddy Sienna!  It was a great place to ride!  We sure had fun together!
All smiles for the train ride!
Sienna and I had a great time laughing together.  I thought it was hysterical to hold onto the hand rail.
It was a hot, but fun day at the pumpkin patch.  Somehow, every year, mom picks the hottest day in October to go to the pumpkin patch.  I don't know how she does it, but it happens every year.  This year it was in the upper 90's for our trip.  We didn't let the heat stop us from having fun.
After the pumpkin patch, we have everybody over to our house for dinner and to hang out.  Mom put out a sheet for us kids to sit on and eat our dinner.  We had a great time eating and playing together!
I didn't want to sit on the sheet with everybody else.  Who would want to sit on the ground when you could sit in a princess rocking chair.
I sure enjoyed my burrito and having friends over.  It was another fun trip to the pumpkin patch!  We can't wait to do it again next year!
