This morning, I had a lot of fun dressing up with all my new dress up stuff. I really got into accessorizing.
Is this how a princess wears a tiara?
It keeps falling off. It is so hard to be a princess that wears tiaras!
I had tons of fun putting on necklaces and taking them off. I would put them in my purse for later and run down the hall!
I am all ready to go. I have my heels on, my wand and a purse. Now if I only had somewhere to go!
I had fun playing on the floor while McKenzie played dress-up.
For some reason, the picture put me upside down when it downloaded onto the blog. I am still smiley even when I am upside down!
Makayla went down for a nap, so, Mommy and I had some time to make my super hero cape! I wanted to try it on before I personalized it.
I had fun cutting with my scissors to make things for my cape. I kept busy cutting while mom cutout my name for the cape. It helps if you open and shut your mouth while you cut!
I had a blast gluing my name, the stars, and the hearts that mommy cut out for me. It wasn't enough to just glue, I wanted to paint the glue on!
It was important to wear the super hero mask while I made the cape, but it was too hard to see so I put it on my forehead. The cape came with glitter glue and I thought it was perfect! I painted glitter onto all the stars and hearts. It was a fun project to do with mommy!
I had to let the glue dry on my cape, so, I decided to dress up in my dress and wings. I am flying down the hall saying "away in the manger." I am not sure where it came from but I have been running down the hall saying that since March.
I took a really good long morning nap. Mommy came to check on me because I was sleeping for so long. Nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby!
It was lunch time and I was excited to eat some left over macaroni and cheese. That is one of my favorites. This is quite the face I am making.
Here is the completed cape, laying out to dry. We were able to fit McKenzie on it which is quite impressive. Thanks Aunt Sarah, Uncle Scott, Sydney. Tyler, and Wyatt. It was a huge hit!
While I was napping, my last present came from Grandma and Grandpa. It was supposed to get there earlier, but the mail is never as quick as you like. I wonder what is inside.
It was a lady bug suitcase and matching backpack. I had a blast zipping it up and wheeling it all around the house. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa. I can't wait to use it!
