Daddy's birthday!

November 10, 2013
Happy Birthday Daddy!  Daddy turned 34 today and we were excited to celebrate with him.  Daddy and his girls first thing in the morning!
Daddy's birthday fell on a Sunday this year, so we headed to church.  We are hanging out on the bench after church eating some pretzels.
That afternoon, the Bronco's were playing.  Grandpa and I watched a little bit of the game while we waited to talk to Uncle Josh on the computer.  It was his birthday too!
We had fun hanging out and relaxing.
Grandma and I found a sunny spot and sat down to read some books.
I woke up from my nap, got changed into my new Bronco's shirt, and had some snuggle time with the birthday boy.
That night, we went to Dry Creek Station for dinner to celebrate Daddy's birthday day.  I sure enjoyed my steak and eating with Grandpa.
Then we came home and opened presents.  I got to help daddy open the present from me!
I got him a fly tying book that he checks out from the library all the time.  I think he likes the book!  I know he will use it lots.
I got to help daddy unwrap the gift from me!  I did really well keeping it a secret from daddy until early in the day when I let it slip on what it was.
Daddy wanted a new coffee mug, so I picked one out for him with deer, elk, and moose on it.  I think he likes it.
Then we both got to help him unwrap a big long birthday present from Grandma and Grandpa!  We love to unwrap gifts.
After daddy opened his gifts, it was time for cake.  Daddy wanted an ice cream cake for his birthday.  It was a little cold on his lap, but mommy didn't want to hold it because it was too cold to hold.
I let daddy blow out the candles by himself.  He didn't need my help.  I sure did enjoy the ice cream cake.  Happy Birthday Daddy!  We are so blessed to have you as our dad!

Day 2 with Grandpa and Grandma

November 9, 2013
I was excited to get up this morning and play with my new toys.  I love to rock out with my instruments.
Grandpa took us outside to play on the swing set.  I got to go down the slide, which I thought was pretty fun!
I wanted to do the monkey bars.  I am not quite tall enough yet to get them  I am getting very close
Lucky thing Grandpa was there to help me across.
While Grandpa was helping McKenzie, I got to explore around the clubhouse!  I thought that was fantastic!
Look Mommy, I am sitting in the clubhouse.  I am such a big
girl to be able to be in the clubhouse!
I was busy taking Grandpa's order and making him his food!  I love to serve food to people!
What else do you want Grandpa?  Thanks for coming to my cafe!  I really enjoyed your visit!
I am ready to come out of the clubhouse.  It was sure fun playing in there!
Grandma has a fun color app on her I pad that I think is fun to create with.
We went out to Clear Creek to hike along the river and see if there where any salmon.  Grandma helped me walk on the tricky rocks.
After nap time, it was craft time with Grandma.  We had fun making pretty bracelets.  Thanks for doing crafts with us Grandma.
Grandma what are we doing to do with these pipe cleaners?

Grandma and Grandpa came to celebrate!

November 7, 2013
Grandma and Grandpa came from Colorado to visit us.  We were excited to have them come.  We put Grandma right to work reading us stories.  We sure do love when Grandma reads to us.
A little quality snuggle time with Grandpa before bed.

November 8, 2013
The next morning, I went right to playing.  Grandpa got me a really fun jeep, since, I have always been so fascinated by them.  By 18 months I could tell you which cars were jeeps and which cars weren't.  Grandpa and I had fun playing jeep together.
Later that morning, we headed out for a bike ride.  I love to show people how well I can ride my bike!
I got to go out on a stroller ride and cheer my sister on.
That evening, we got to celebrate my birthday again!  This time with Grandma and Grandpa!  Here I am blowing my candle out with McKenzie!
Eating my apple dumpling with Grandma and Grandpa!  Thanks for celebrating my birthday again!  This way I got another dessert.  Can't beat that!
McKenzie got in on some apple dumplings.  Grandpa came to keep her company while she ate.
These apple dumpling sure are yummy!
After dessert, we got to open some more presents.  I am always up for opening presents.  Aunt Aubrey got me this cute hat and an outfit that matches.  Thanks Aunt Aubrey I love them and my corduroy books!
I wonder what is in the bag from Grandma and Grandpa!
It was a fun book!  I wonder what else is in there.  It is hard to focus when there is more to open.
Yeah!  I got it!  It was a cute dress!
I got my very own dog lunch box, so I can have one to take on picnics.  I really liked the dog and touching his nose.
McKenzie came over to help me unwrap the rest!  Thanks for the help sister.
My lunch box came with a dog cup.  I got thirsty while opening presents, unfortunately there wasn't any water in it.
The last present I opened was my favorite.  It was a drum and musical instruments that are bug shaped.  I had a blast playing them with Grandpa.
The egg shaker is my favorite.  I love to shake it and make music.  I am watching McKenzie play the drum.
McKenzie had a blast playing the drum.
Daddy even joined the band with a tambourine he found.
I got a turn to play the drum and I was a natural!  Thanks for all the wonderful birthday presents Grandma and Grandpa!

Fall leaves!

November 3, 2013
The leaves have started to fall here and I was really excited to go outside and play in the leaves.  I jumped right in and had a blast playing.
I had fun ducking in the leaves and then throwing them up.  I am ready to throw some into the air!
Mommy got in the leaves with us, because, she thought Makayla might like them better.  Makayla still wasn't too sure about them.  She was tired and ready for a nap which didn't help!  This is the best photo we got of the 3 of us!
I had a blast raking up the leaves and adding them to the pile.  I think I had more fun raking than actually playing in the leaves.
Mom had fun in the leaves and I didn't mind them when I was on her lap.  I can be a little bit of a mama's girl right now.
This is a big rake, but I got a handle on it!
Jumping back in the pile I raked up.
How do I get up out of these leaves?
You almost have to swim out of them.

I wanted to lay down all the way in the leaves!
It was sure silly to be covered in leaves!
Even with my eyes closed I still had a blast!
A pause in the play, so Mom, could get a good picture of me!
It's like I am floating on a cloud, but floating on leaves instead.
The sun was bright and made it hard to look up at mommy!
Where's McKenzie.  This would be a good hiding spot for hide and seek.
There she is!
Ready to get out and play some more!
I had a blast running back and fourth and throwing handfuls of leaves on the pile!
A little more raking and my pile should be complete!
I found a tree to hug in case I am lost!
Then I wanted to try to climb the tree.  I didn't get very far up it.  It was kind of hard to climb!
Daddy was using the leaf blower to blow the leaves together and to clean out the gutters.  I really wanted to us the leaf blower, so, he showed me how!
Then he let me use it by myself.  I really started moving the leaves into my pile!
A running start.  Here I am come leaves, ready or not!
Daddy got in the leaves with me to play for a little bit!
I tried to get him to lay back down in the leaves!
A really cute shot of me and Daddy!
We tried to get one of daddy and us girls, but I really didn't want to sit for more pictures and Makayla was too tired to smile.  I guess we should head in to take naps!

November 5, 2013
I got to have a piece of toast this morning and I was pretty excited about it.  McKenzie has toast almost every morning, so I felt so grown up having toast with her!
Sitting down and doing a puzzle while eating some toast!
Hanging out while mom gets everything ready, so, we can go!
When we got back and it had a chance to warm up a little bit, we went outside to play in the leaves again. Mommy really wanted a picture of me in the leaves.  This time I was given some crackers to eat while I sat in the leaves.  I was definitely happier to sit in the leaves with crackers.
Shoving the cracker in my mouth!
Mommy also really wanted a picture of the both of us in the leaves, but I wasn't all about it today.  This is the best that she got.  We are still cute!
McKenzie was all about smiling for the camera.  I was too busy eating my cracker to give mom a smile!
Mom gave up on trying to get a picture of us together, so, she started taking some more of me in the leaves!
I wanted to see if I could crawl in the leaves.  It was a little hard since I still had a cracker in my hand.
Here I come mom!  I am going to make it to you.
I am really motivated to make it to you.
I got put back in the leaves, but I wasn't too upset about it.
A shot where I wasn't shoving a cracker in my mouth.  Believe it or not, I was only given two crackers.
McKenzie and I had fun throwing leaves at each other.
I had fun grabbing the leaves and playing in them.
I would grab them and let them go and they would fall down.  It was fun.
Both of us busy playing with the leaves.
I started letting them fall from higher and higher.  This is as high as I could go!
Yeah!  Mommy finally got her picture of me smiling in the leaves with out cracker in my mouth!  She knew if she persevered she would get it!
After a while, I got out and found some roses blooming to put on my leaf piles I had made.  Here I am with my pretty pink rose.  Got to love Redding, where in November you have roses blooming and leaves falling!
I was very excited about the leaf pile I made for my rose and wanted mommy to take a picture of it.  I love fall because you can have so much fun with leaves!
