New Year's Eve!

December 31, 2012
I love to push Makayla around to where mommy is when she is in her chair.  Mommy said that as long as I am careful and she is buckled in I could move her.  She seems to like the ride!
Tonight is New Year's Eve.  We are having a quite celebration at home today, since we all have a little cold.  We had a fun dinner of pizza and appetizers.  Yum Yum!  We even ate in the living room instead of the dinning room table.
We celebrated the New Year at 9:00 pm with some sparking apple cider.  It was a fun way to celebrate.  I love to say cheers!  Happy New Year!
That sparking cider is sure yummy!
I some how fell into my toy box and got stuck.  Now how did that happen?  I headed to bed after the sparkling cider.  I think Daddy was the only one of us to make it until midnight.  Maybe next year I will be able to stay up later.  I hope everybody has a wonderful 2013!

A Day of fun!

December 30, 2012
I got a book of water color pages in my Christmas stocking, so I was excited to be able to paint this morning.  I sure do love to paint!
I had so much fun painting that I kept asking for another page.  I almost painted every page that morning
Mommy showed me how to dip the brush in water and then into the paint.  I got the hang of it pretty quickly.
A little bit later, Daddy put my balance bike together and then we headed outside to give it a try!
I wanted to wear my dinosaur jacket that my aunt Susan made me.  I love this jacket.  I ask to wear it ever time we leave the house.
Wow! Look at how far I went!  It took a long time to get to the end of the street because I would stop all the time to look at something or comment about something.  Mommy and Daddy thought we would never make it home.  Luckily, I am getting quicker on my bike now!
I got to come on the bike ride also, but I had to go in my stroller.  I was just happy to be outside!
After dinner Daddy really wanted some brownies, so mommy and I made him some.  When we were done I got to lick the spatula.  Mommy told me I had some on my face, so I tried to lick it off.
Was I able to lick it off?  That is some yummy brownie batter!  I love to bake with Mommy!  What a fun day, crafts, bike ride, and cooking!  It doesn't get much better than that!

Christmas!

December 25, 2012
Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!  As McKenzie likes to say.  We are all up and ready to open some presents.  I have my Santa hat on and am for the festivities!
I had a lot of fun opening gifts.  I think the fun was in opening them and not what was in them.  Yeah! I got it open.
I got a princess fishing rod, so that I can go fishing with daddy.  I am practicing reeling in my fish!
Happy Day!  Happy Day!  Look at that! How exciting
When I finished opening up my presents, I turned around and helped Aunt Helen open up her presents.  I am sure she needed my help.
My Great Uncle Dan and Aunt Linda sent me a princess pillow, which I love.  I had to sit on it right away, plus it had my princesses on it.  It doesn't get much better than that.
I finished my breakfast, so now it is my turn to open my presents.  I look pretty excited to open presents.
I just got a bunch of new toys, but I am doing the puzzles that my cousins had in the box.  Well in all fairness, my toys stayed in the box, so we could get them home easily!
I had a wonderful time bonding with my Uncle Scott.  We sure did have some fun times.
I had fun scooting around on the hardwood on my princess pillow.
Wyatt got an ATV for Christmas, which was a big hit with all of us.  He had a lot of fun with it.  Look I am standing and riding.
We all wanted a turn on it.  I had a lot of fun driving it around.  Look at me go!
We stopped for a little jam session.  Sydney played the drum while Tyler and I had some noise makers.
Some quality time with my Aunt Sarah and Sydney.
After playing with our toys for awhile, we then opened our Christmas stockings.  It was fun to look in and see what else I got.  There were some Minnie, Mickey, and Hello Kitty stamps that I have been having fun with.
I was sure a cute Santa baby for Christmas.  It was time for me to open my stocking.  I was sure excited about it.  Mommy forgot our stockings that Grammy made us at home, so we ended up borrowing Grammy and Granpy's.
Here is all my loot.  Okay some of it I already had, but what does a 2 month old need for Christmas.
While dinner was being made, we went down to the basement to play in "the pit" (all the pillows from the couch are thrown on the ground and you can jump into them).  Daddy got into the pit and then Sydney and Tyler got him.  It was a lot of fun to jump around in.
I got to hang out with Grammy while dinner was being put on the table.
Here is the kids table where we ate dinner.  It was a yummy Christmas dinner.
It wouldn't be a holiday meal without olives.  I had fun putting them on my fingers and eating them off.
After dinner, Sydney read us a story.  Well, she told us about the book.  She sure had our attention.
That evening I got to watch my first movie on there big projector TV.  It was just like going to the movies, but you didn't have to leave your home.  Daddy stayed and watch Toy Story to make sure I could handle it.  I watched the whole movie!  I sure had a blast seeing family and especially playing with my cousins.  I am still asking to be able to play with them.  Thanks for having us.

Christmas Eve

December 24, 2012
For Christmas this year Aunt Helen made us girls all matching dresses.  Mommy was really excited about them because when she was about McKenzie's age she had a fancy dress just like the ones Aunt Helen made us.  Here is my first layer.
It was a lot more work to get dressed this morning with all the layers, but just looking at how cute the dress is on me.  It was well worth the effort!.  Thanks Aunt Helen we love them!
Wyatt (1 1/2) loved to smile for the camera.  What an adorable little charmer.
Here I am trying on my pretty dress with Sydney (4).  We were excited to have matching dresses.
Here is the full effect of the dresses.  We sure are adorable and ready to go to Christmas Eve service at church.
I took a really good nap on Uncle Scott's lap during the church service.  Thanks for the great nap uncle Scott.
Sydney got to sing a song for the children's Christmas Eve service.  She did an amazing job.  It was fun to watch her stand up there and sing.
We are all lined up and waiting our turn to cross the road.  Aunt Sarah has done a good job of getting us organized.
The ever famous after Christmas Eve service pictures.  It always seems like a fun idea since everybody is dressed up so nicely, but it is hard to get 5 tired kids looking happy in one picture.  Not to bad, but this was the first pose.
Here is a good one of Uncle Scott, Aunt Sarah, Sydney, Tyler, and Wyatt.
Here is our family.  I wouldn't put my fingers down to get a good picture.
And then we were done and didn't want to sit still anymore.  What can you expect from 5 kids ranging from 4 years to 2 months.  Granpy we are proud of you for giving us a really good smile in this picture.
Angel Baby!  Look I can fly.
When all the big kids were napping I got to stay up and help wrap the rest of the Christmas presents.  Grammy and I are having a good conversation.
I am the best Christmas present, but I don't know if I need to be wrapped up.  I sure did enjoy playing in the wrapping paper.
Time to get out of the wrapping paper and let mommy get busy wrapping presents before the big kids wake up.
After dinner, we had a lot of fun making a rice crispy train.  Somehow Granpy ended up spearheading the forming and decorating of the train.  He did a great job of helping us make a fun and festive train.  Here we are forming our train with the rice crispy treats.
There was some rice crispy treat left over and Uncle Scott decided to try it.  That sure looks good Uncle Scott.
How nice of Uncle Scott to give me a taste.  What a cool Uncle.
We all got a little taste of the rice crispy treats.  Yummy.  My favorite a craft that you can eat.
I did a good job of decorating my train car with all different colors of frosting.
Aunt Helen helped me decorate my car train.  It turned out really nice.
I decided to try some of the frosting.  Lucky thing dad was there to encourage me on!
Wyatt decided to start eating his train car.  Nobody will notice a couple of missing bites.
I am not sure who encouraged who, if Uncle Scott encouraged Wyatt to share or if Wyatt shared on his own.
Here is my train car all decorated.  I even put a "M" on it so I would know that it was mine.
After our train was finished, we made some reindeer food.  Each of us got to put handfuls of stuff into the bowl to feed the reindeer.
Then we went outside to sprinkle it on the grass, so the reindeer had something to eat while they were visiting.  Wyatt thought that he was a reindeer and should eat the Cheerios that landed on the ground.
