Talking to myself!

Today while mommy made lunch for McKenzie, I got to hang out in the swing for a little bit.  Mom came out of the kitchen to watch me talk to the girl in the mirror.  Then she had to get a video of it.  Here I am talking to that cute girl.  I talk to everything these days.

It is a beautiful day out here in Redding, so we are headed out for a walk and bike ride on the river trail.   Since it was so sunny, I needed a hat to wear and my Minnie one was just perfect!

 I am very excited about going because we are going to take my balance bike.  I love to ride on my bike!  Mommy forgot the camera so we don't have any pictures of me riding on the sun dial bridge.  

 I got to hang out with Daddy while everybody got ready.  I am excited to go outside for a walk.

I love to get down and lay on my back and stretch out.  It feels so good to kick around.  

Sticking my tongue out.  What can I say it just kind of pops out.  

I have been working on getting my head up.  I needed to taste the couch first before I get it up.  

I am starting to get it up.  The tongue is helping me push it up further.  

There I did it.  I am getting to be such a big girl.  I will be rolling over before you know it.  Okay maybe not!

I even have it up for a little while.  Nothing like working on my neck strength.  

Back down to the yummy couch.  After all a girls neck gets tired.  

After a little rest I tried again!

My Fort

Today, Mommy and I built a fort with my little chairs and blankets.  I sure had fun playing in it.  Mommy got in with me and read some books, but it was a little tight with both of in there.  She said next time she should make it taller. 

 I went and got my glow stick flashlight to help me see, since, it was dark in my fort.

 How do I make this flashlight purple?

 Here I am hiding out in my fort.  I am all smiles. 

 I found that it was the easiest to get around if I was on my tummy.

 The Bronco's were playing today in the playoffs, so we got dressed up in our Bronco's cloths to watch the game.  Well I didn't watch the game because I am not allowed to watch TV.  I did get to hang out with Daddy while mommy made him some ribs for the game! 

I hear that it was an intense game to watch with a sad ending if you are a Bronco's fan.  I guess there is always next year.

Another month has come and gone already and I just keep getting bigger and bigger.  It is time for the giraffe to come out again for his photo!

 I am all ready for church, just sitting on my princess pillow so I can get my shoes on.

 A nice nap after church.  I look like a sleeping angel.

 I earned another reward and this time I wanted to do a special craft, so I colored and decorated some ornaments.  I had a lot of fun.  

 We are headed out for a walk and it is getting later in the day, so mommy put my strawberry hat on.  Then she had to take some pictures of me in it!

 I really like to talk, so I was asking mommy if it was time to finish with the pictures and go out walking!

For Christmas my Great Aunt Helen got us a little kids table and chairs.  It has been in a box at our house for a couple of weeks now since we have been so busy.  Yesterday while Daddy was home with us, he decided to put it together and I couldn't have been more excited!  When I got up this morning I wanted to bring my chairs into the kitchen and watch mommy make breakfast.

 I couldn't decide which chair to sit on, so I had to bring them all into the kitchen and take turns sitting on each one!

 When breakfast was ready, I wanted to eat at my little table.  In fact, I ate every meal at the little table for the next week.

 We pushed Makayla up to the table so she could have breakfast with me.

 Mommy and Daddy decided to start a sticker reward system for me to hopefully improve my listening.  I earn stickers for listening on the first time.  If I earn so many stickers I get a reward.  Today I earned my first reward!  I chose to make something yummy with mommy.  We made some gooey Chocolate bars and as you can tell from my face they were yummy.

I don't know what is more exciting, the reward I earn or the Mickey and Minnie stickers I get!

The new year!

 Since Daddy had the day off for the New Year, I got all bundled up and we went out for a family walk. 

I look so cute all bundled up with my hat and my mittens to keep my hands warm. 

 I really like it when Daddy holds me like this.  When I am upset it calms me right down.  The only down fall for Daddy is that I drool all over his arm.  What is a wet sleeve, when it means I am happy. 

Say cheese!  We have fun together.  Mommy really appreciate it when Daddy keeps me happy, so that, she can get dinner ready!

We love to read stories.  I am not sure who is enjoying the story more McKenzie or me.  Thanks for reading to us Daddy!
