Jayden's 1st Birthday party!

 February 22, 2014
Today, we went to Jayden's 1st Birthday party.  It was an ice cream social.  Us silly three year olds climbed into Jayden's little pretend house and went right to playing.
They finally got those three year olds out and let Jayden and I play with the house!
There was a fun ice cream treasure hunt.  I had to find 5 green ice cream cones.  Don't worry they were just pictures of ice cream cones not real ones.
While McKenzie was on her ice cream hunt, Jayden and I were still having fun at the house.
I am having a great time at Jayden's birthday.
They had a really cute ice cream shoppe set up were you could order up some ice cream.  I am waiting for my turn!
I chose to have a banana split with strawberry ice cream.  I can't wait to go and eat my banana split!
I got to try ice cream for the first time and I am definitely a fan.  I got chocolate ice cream with graham cracker crumbles.  The ice cream was one of the biggest hits of the party for me, the other one was the puppet show that they put on.  I came home and would put my hand out, turn it back and forth, and say a word that sounded kind of like puppet
I sat and waited excitedly for mom to get me a bite of the ice cream.
There was a fun pinta that we got to pull the strings from to try to open it up.  Daddy helped me pull the string.
I got to try and open the pinata too.  I worked hard to get the ribbon off!
They had a fun hammock chair that I had a great time playing in with Collin and Sienna.
Collin and I took a turn in it together!
Sienna and I taking our turn!
Makayla wanted to get in on the all girls hammock swing.  We had a wonderful time at Jayden's 1st birthday.  It was really a cute party.
Okay, so these balloons are from Valentines Day.  Mommy didn't take any pictures on Valentines day because it was a Friday and she worked most of the day.  Today while I was eating, I saw my bear balloon that Daddy got me and wanted to have it.  I have such a sweet Daddy to get me a balloon for Valentines Day.
Daddy got me a frog balloon, since, I love my frog stuffed animal.  Once Makayla got her balloon I wanted mine too.  I was pretty excited to get a balloon from Daddy on Valentines. day.
Mommy had her camera out from taking pictures with us and our balloons and she got me with a big grin on my face!
I stopped and leaned back on the ottoman so mommy could take another picture.  It was sure a fun day celebrating my friends birthday and hanging out with my family.

Two cute ladybugs and a puppet show

February 20, 2014
Today was a beautiful day, so, we decided to have some fun in the sun.  We headed to Turtle Bay to play.
I just got a new pair of sunglasses and was excited to try them out!
I stopped for a couple of pictures before running over the wood bridge.  I love to run over the wood bridge.
I actually wore my sunglasses for a little bit.  I don't keep mine on as well as my sister.  I was pretty happy to be out in the sun.
And even happier to have my doggie!  I sure do love him.
We went to little explorers and they brought in Inali the fox for us to see.  We were pretty exitced to see him.
After our story about dogs, we made some dog hand puppets.  Collin and I had a great time creating our puppets.
I decided to put some spots on my dog!
Here is a video of Collin's and my puppet show.
After our naps, we put on our ladybug wings and pretended that we were ladybugs.  We flew to my room to get some books to read.
I decided to be the sad ladybug, not to be confused with the grouchy lady bug.
Such a sad ladybug .  I wonder what can make her happy.
Now that is a happy ladybug who is ready to fly off and play.
I flew right down and sat on the box.  I love to sit on anything.
I had fun marching around the living room with my wings on.
I sure had fun flying all over the house.

Fixing the drawer with Daddy!

February 16, 2014

Daddy took this cute picture of me on his phone!
The cabinet draw came apart, so Daddy thought, we would have fun fixing it together.  He got it all ready to glue by getting the nails out and sanding it down.
He showed me where to glue and then I went to town.  It was the perfect task for me because I am a good gluer.
Daddy made sure that there was glue in all the right spots.
We are all ready to put the front back on and let the glue dry.  Mommy said, "that we did a great job and is so glad we are so handy".  I had a lot of fun fixing the drawer with daddy.

Planting a garden and a pretend tea party!

February 17, 2014
We headed out to plant some spring vegetables in our garden, peas, lettuce, spinach and such.  I headed out with mommy who got the soil all ready for us to plant our seeds.  Mommy was excited to plant a garden with me this year because we have been studying the book of Matthew and they have some great parables about soil.  So, while we planted our seeds we talked about Matthew 13: 3-9.  The four different types of soil that the seeds can be planted into and which type of soil God wants us to have.
I raked a trench to put our seeds into with my green rake, which got some dirt on it.
I would put my little gnome in the ground to make a hole and then put my seed into it.
I was very careful about planting the seed and covering it up!
I am all done planting and now we just have to wait for our seeds to sprout.  It was fun planting our spiritual and hopefully edible garden!
After dinner, we headed to our little craft table to have a pretend tea party with our dolls.  We love to have tea parties real or pretend!
Here is a video of me pouring some tea into my cups.  It is amazing how young a little girl is ready to play tea party and can actually do it.
McKenzie and I made a good team.  I would pour the tea and she would hand it out to our quest.
McKenzie went to get some food for us, but I was committed to pouring tea.
After awhile, I moved on and cleaned up from my tea party.  It was sure a fun time.

smiles and twiners

February 11, 2014
I am all smiles for a girl with a broken arm.  Nothing is going to stop me for being joyful!
Well, every once in awhile you have to take a break from smiling to rest the muscles in your mouth!
We headed out for a walk today on the river trail with Grammy and Granpy.  McKenzie got to go on her bike, but I left her a seat in the stroller in case she got tired.
Granpy and I had fun being twiners today.  We both had on navy shirts and white writing, have blue eyes and blond eyebrows.  I thought it was pretty fun!
Look I can wink at the camera.
After nap, I had some more smiles for the camera.  Look at my front top teeth!
Mommy went to the church and asked Kerrie if there were any bandannas left from VBS.  She hooked us up in a bunch of colors.  Now I will be able to accessories with my outfits.
