Gingerbread houses!

December 1, 2012
All that playing makes a girl tired!
Nothing like a nap to rest up for the evening festivities!
Today I had a bunch of my friends come over for dinner and decorating gingerbread houses and Christmas trees.  We were supposed to do dinner and the Christmas parade, but it was really windy and rainy that day, so we stayed in and decorated instead.
Here is the whole group of us getting started on our decorations.
I had a lot of fun putting candies on my Christmas tress.
I had fun watching Hannah decorate hers.  I got some good ideas from her.
Look at my tree.  I did a really good job of decorating it.
Makayla came to see all the fun.  Next year she will be able to decorate one herself.
Now that it is decorated it is time to have a little taste.
I ended up eating all the decorations off that I had put on.  They were yummy.
Look there is green frosting on both of my fingers.  It is a great way to lick it off.
By the time that I was done eating my Christmas tree my hands and face were extremely messy!  That is a fun dessert.  It was great to have my friends over.

Makayla Louise

Life is pretty good around here!  Here are some photos of me just hanging out around the house being a baby.  It is so cute to put something on your bottom when you are tiny!

Just me, my ducks, and some frogs.
All pretty in my pretty red dress.
Mommy must be tired because she and I feel asleep on the couch.  What a nice nap.
My sister thought that I needed to make a phone call while I napped.  She did a good job of getting it up to my ear.  I guess I must talk a lot in my sleep.  She was told not to disturb me while I slept, but the picture was to perfect for mom to pass up.
McKenzie wanted her picture taken with the phone too.  Don't worry it is just and old play phone.  She  really isn't calling anybody.
My big sister still likes to get the chance to hold me.
Look it is a duck!  I seem a little startled.  I guess you would be to if you had a duck on your head.
Doing a little more hanging out!

Thanksgiving

November 22, 2012
For Thanksgiving it seemed appropriate to get dressed up in my pumpkin shirt and hat.  I had to celebrate my 1st Thanksgiving some how, since I wasn't allowed to sample Thanksgiving day dinner.  Mommy thought  my facial expression in this picture was a good one.  I am one month going on 14 years!
A little time to get down and stretch.  I sure do love to stretch!
Here is a good shot of my Thanksgiving day shirt!  I am a little pumpkin
Since it was just the four of us this year for Thanksgiving, we went and celebrated at my friend Collin's house.  It was a lot of fun to play with Collin and Shiloh and their brothers and sisters.  We got to sit at the little little kids table.
My favorite part of dinner was the olives.  I am my mother's daughter!  Thanksgiving wouldn't be complete with out olive fingers.  I had a great Thanksgiving with my friends!

Last day with Grandma and Grandpa

November 21, 2012
Grandpa and Grandma headed back home today, so we had to get a picture of the four of us before they left.  This is the best one out of the bunches that mommy took.  It was sure fun to have them here for a visit.
The night before they left we headed down to the Sun Dial Bridge for a little walk.  We had fun running across the bridge.  I was even willing to take a little break and pose for a picture with Grandma and Grandpa.
Some nice person asked if we would want a picture of all of us, so we said yes.  Here is to the whole lot.  Makayla is hard to see since she didn't get out of her stroller, but don't worry she was there!
It  was sure a pretty evening with the sun going down.  It was nice to get outside for a little bit, since while Grandma and Grandpa were here we had some big rain and wind storms.

Broncos

November 18, 2012
Grandma and Grandpa brought us Bronco shirts to wear for the Bronco games.  After church we got changed into them to watch the game.  Well I just put them on in supports, since, the game was on during my nap time.  Look at that stiff arm.  I am ready to play.
Daddy and I even match.  I got to stay up and watch the game, but I did a little cat napping during it.
Mommy made them put a bow on me, so that, I would look more like a girl.  I didn't know they made outfits that weren't pink or purple!
This is my attempt at signaling a touchdown.  That isn't to bad for such a little one!  Go Broncos!

Crafts with Grandma

While Grandma was here visiting, we had a fun time doing crafts together.  I sure do love doing crafts any chance I can.
We decorated gingerbread ornaments for our Christmas tree.  See they turned out very cute.
I can't wait to put them on my tree.
Staying with the gingerbread theme, the next day, we made and decorated gingerbread men sugar cookies.  Here is how they turned out.
I really love a craft when the end result is so yummy.
Here I am doing stickers in my new sticker book.  I sure do love to put stickers everywhere.
Such concentration while getting those tricky stickers off.
Here I am poising with my crafts.  I sure had fun doing crafts with Grandma.

Poising in our Sunday best

November 18, 2012
After we got home from church, we headed outside to take some pictures since we were all dressed up.
 One with Grandma and me
 One with Grandpa and me
I convinced them to play ring-around-the-rosy.  I sure do love that game.
Another one of the three of us.  Makayla was sleeping otherwise she would have gotten in on the photo-op.
I really wanted to play and kick the leaves around.  I sure do love to play in the leaves.

Meeting Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa came out all the way from Colorado to meet me.  It was sure fun to have them come out!  Here I am meeting Grandma.
 Some quality time with Grandpa!
McKenzie came to see what was going on and spend some time with Grandpa and me.
I think they both really love me!
