Checking out some vehicles and making some

April 9, 2016
Yesterday on the radio we heard about this event they were having at the library with a bunch of fun vehicles.  Since mom went out on a girls day trip, dad thought he would take us girls to check it out.  Mom gave him her camera and asked him to take pictures, which, he did a great job of!
I had fun flying the helicopter.
Watch out below I am about to jump out of this helicopter.
I got my chance to fly the helicopter.
Check out this military jeep I am taking for a spin!
Move over it is my turn!
I am excited to get to pretend to drive a jeep!  I have always loved jeeps.
Uh oh, we are climbing into the back of a police car.
We had fun watching the fire fighters do a demonstration.
Then we got to drive the fire truck!
I even have a fire hat to wear while I drive.
We are both in the back part of the fire engine.  We had a fun morning with Dad checking out all the fun vehicles.
This evening we needed to work on our pinewood derby cars.  I was sanding mine down to make it nice and smooth.
Daddy and I had a great time sanding together!
We both gave mom some nice smiles while we sanded!
After it was all sanded we put on some paint cloths on to paint our cars and make them pretty.
Allie was over visiting and playing so she watched us paint our cars, since, hers was already done!
I was excited to get to paint my car!
I am being very careful to get it all painted nicely.
I wanted to paint mine purple and then decorate it with some flowers.
Needed to make sure the blue paint was just right.  We had fun making and decorating our cars and will be able to show them off tomorrow at the pinewood derby!

Banana splits

April 6, 2016
Not sure the purpose of why this picture was taken, probably for the main reason that I was smiling and making eye contact with the camera!  Since it was a cute picture mom thought she would randomly throw it in!

Today was my share day at school and chapel.  Since it was my share day and a chapel day mom thought why not dress me up in a fancy dress!  We take turns in pre-k through out the year getting to bring something to share with the class.  Today I wanted to bring my stuffed My Little Pony that my dad got for me after going to Portland for a bridge conference.
I thought I would go and get my pony that I got from Dad to show off!

Mom finally finished painting the outside of the house yesterday and she thought we should all celebrate with banana splits.  We weren't sure what banana splits were, but when we found out we were pretty excited.
Mom thought she would do banana split treats since we have been so good about playing while she has spent so much time painting.
Going in to try it.
That is one big bite.
This is sure yummy!

I love mine so far!
I have pretty much scarfed mine all up!  What a fun treat we got to have!
So here is a picture of our house before we painted it.
Here it is freshly painted and done!!!!!!!

Kennedy's roller skating party!

April 4, 2016
Today was our third birthday party in three days!  My friend Kennedy from my pre-k class had her birthday party at the skating rink
I was so excited to get to go roller skating today.  The only time I have put on roller skates was at Allison's house and rolled around her house.  I was excited for a chance to really get to skate.  At first I didn't want to let go of the wall because if I did I would fall.
By holding onto the wall and pushing myself along I was able to make it around the skating rink.  It wasn't quick, but I made!
It was a little trickier to make it through the open area!
I was really excited that I got to go to Kennedy's birthday party with McKenzie.  Normally mom would have left me with Dad, but he had work and had bible study, so, I got to go.
We had fun roller skating together.
I was excited when my friend Baxlie, from pre-k, showed up and we were able to skate together.
I just loved the mirror that was on the wall.
I had a great time checking out the girl on the other side!
She is quite adorable!
Kennedy, Baxlie and I had a great time skating together.
All that skating worked up an appitite and made us thristy.  Pizza and some water hit the spot!
We had a great time eating together.
Noah and I found that it was safer on our knees than on our feet.
We finally got up enough courage to get out in the middle of the rink and not hold onto the wall!
I caught up to Allie.  She was able to skate circles around me!
A little unsteady, but I am doing it!
I was actually a pretty good little skater.  I had decent balance while roller skating!
Pretty much we held mom's hand through out the whole time to help us along.
Hallie and I thought we would try to help each other skate.
Here we are skating off the rink to find our shoes and head home.  We had a great time skating at Kennedy's party.  Since the skate party, I have been talking about how I want my own pair of roller skates.
