a little bit of random moments

We love to go on bike rides.  Spring in Redding is the perfect time for them.
This is my rainbow outfit.  I love it when my accessories match my outfit.
When we head to Michael's, McKenzie always gets a basket to push.  Well this time, I decided that I needed one just like my big sister.  I pushed that cart all around the store.
Our chocolate iris was in bloom, so, when we got home we went and stopped to smell the iris.
It is fun to smell flowers especially when they smell like chocolate.
I was all done smelling the flowers and ready to head inside and have some lunch.
Mommy has been busy switching our winter wardrobes to our summer ones.  Today when the suitcase was empty I had fun climbing inside and playing.
Today, we cooked up some Elk steak that Grandma brought us from when Grandpa and Daddy went out to get him.  I sure enjoyed my dinner.
I had more than one Easter dress this year, so, this one became my Palm Sunday dress.
I put on a Spring/Summer fashion show for mom!
My dog soso wanted to get in on the fashion show pictures.
I was having a great time modeling.
Mom was surprised she could get me to do so many outfit changes, but I was in the mood today.
One last one.
I got in on the fashion show too.  I wasn't as keen on it as McKenzie was, but I would go and pose for a second.
I was pretty content to only put the bottoms on.  I told mom that I was going for the Speedo look.
There we go that was more appropriate.

My 1st triathlon

April 5, 2014
Today, we headed a crossed the street to enterprise park for my 1 st triathlon.  The city of Redding parks and rec put it on with the 1st five program to promote getting out and exercising.  I rode my bike over for my warm up.
Instead of swimming they had a ball hopper portion.  I thought I would try them out before the race, so, I could figure out the quickest way to hop!
The first couple of times I got going too fast and leaned too far forward and fell off.  I thought it was pretty funny to fall off.
I got back on right away to give it another try and started to get the hang of it.
This time I leaned to far back and fell off backwards.  I had fun practicing and was able to figure it out.
I got to hang out with doggie and my toast and cheer sister on.  I am still to little to participate in the triathlon but maybe next year.
Mom pinned my number on my back right before the race.  Now it is an unofficial official competition.  In other words it was for fun and not to see who is the fastest.
On your marks get set go!
The first part of the race was a bike ride.  All types of bikes and tricycles were excepted, so, my balance bike was perfect.  They had a parent follow you and direct you on where to go.  I wanted mom to help me.
After the bike, it was the ball hopper portion.
It really helped to go fast if you stuck your tongue out.
Those ball hoppers are a good workout and very tiring, but sure fun.
The last portion was the run.  Mommy ran with me and snuck ahead for some pictures.
The final sprint to the finish line.  Here I come.  Even dad and Makayla got in on chasing me to the finish line!
Some much needed water after my race. I had a lot of fun doing my first triathlon and said I wanted to do it again some time.
We stopped to take a picture in the Redding grasshopper on the way to the refreshments.
Sweet makayla got to get out of the stroller and have her picture taken with the grasshopper.
You were able to do the course as many times as you wanted, so after a little break, I was ready to go again. Here I am back at the start.
I was pretty excited to go another round.  I went over and over again at least three or four times for the bike.
I had fun doing the ball hopper not quite as many times as the bike because it was a lot more tiring.
After I ran, hopped, and biked to my hearts content we sat down and had our refreshments.  They were sure yummy.
I really thought that I should have had a turn on the bike portion, so, Daddy helped me onto McKenzie's balance bike.
This balance bike is so cool.  I can't wait for McKenzie to get a real bike and I can have the balance bike.
I was very helpful and helped pick up the cones when it was time to go.
I met a new friend and we had fun playing together.  She even let me try her tricycle.
I had a lot of fun carrying the cones to be put away.  It was sure a fun morning!

A fun pit stop!

March 28, 2014
Granpy, Great Uncle Joe, and my cousin Colin did a quick pit stop on their way home from spring training in Phoenix.  I was happy that we were on the way and they were able to stay the night.
Granpy and I had a great dinner together.  He enjoyed some real food and I ate my bible.  It was great to see Granpy!
Great Uncle Joe and I had some great laughs together.  It was fun to catch up.
Collin and I did a lot of bonding.  He is one cool guy.
They brought us some fun presents.  Collin helped me assemble mine.  I am glad he was there to put it together for me.
Colin read me a bedtime story, but not before I got to play a little airport with Granpy.  I had fun snuggling in my new cozy blanket.
Great Uncle Joe read me my bedtime story.  It was sure fun to have them here for the night.  I am glad they could stop bye!
The next day McKenzie and I had fun playing with my new toy!
I decided that I wanted to big like McKenzie, so, I put on her ladybug rain boots and did a little walking in her shoes.
