3 1/2 month giraffe picture

It is time again for the giraffe to come out for my 3 1/2 month giraffe picture.  Mom had a hard time getting my hands down because all I wanted to do was suck on them.
There we go, she finally got them down.  I needed to tell her something and I couldn't do it with my hands in my mouth.

sleeping

Makayla cracks us up while she sleeps.  She really likes to suck on things.  She doesn't care what it is.  In if she doesn't have anything she will pretend that she has a pacifier.

Valentine's Day

 February 14, 2013
To celebrate Valentine's day, Mommy and I hosted a Valentine's Day tea party for three of my friends.  I was excited to help make some heart shaped brownies, which we got for dessert.  Mommy had me dressed up in my fancy dress that Aunt Helen made me and didn't want me to get brownie all over it, so we found one of Daddy's old shirts to help protect it.
My favorite part of helping, licking the spatula.
We had my little table and chairs all ready for the tea party.  I am excited for my friends to arrive.
We had a lot of fun drinking our tea and pouring it into our heart cups.
We even got heart straw to drink our tea with.  We had raspberry tea, since it was pink.
After we had some tea, we had some lunch.  Kelli's brother Sheldon decide to sit down in her chair and eat some lunch with us girls.
We had a lot of fun eating and drinking our tea
After we were done eating, we hung out and played a little bit.  It was sure a fun tea party.  I can't wait to have another one.
We wanted to go out and play on my swing set in our fancy dresses.  Here I am swinging with Shiloh.
After the tea party, McKenzie took a nap and I hung out in the bumbo while mommy cleaned the kitchen up from the party.
A little Valentine's day smile.
Daddy asked me what I wanted for Valentine's and I said, "cupcakes".  Daddy went out and got the supplies for us to make cupcakes.  Here we are making them together.  It was a lot of fun to bake with Daddy.  What a special treat.
After they were all ready, we frosted them and put sprinkles on them, which was my favorite part.  Then we went and sat at my little table to eat them.
They were yummy!  Thanks Daddy for cupcakes.  I loved them.

Sledding!!!!!

February 8, 2013
We went back outside to play in the snow again.  Daddy got into my snow cave to make it bigger.  He has more shoveling to do if he wants to be able to fit in.
We painted the snow.  It was a lot of fun to paint the snow pretty colors.
What a fun canvas snow makes.  Grandma had a lot of fun colors for me to paint with.
I made a snow angel.  What a years make.  Last year when we were here, I cried when my parents tried to get me to do a snow angel.  This year I thought it was a blast!
That evening we went sledding down a hill.  Here I am all ready for Grandpa to send me down.  The first time I went down I had a look of terror almost all the way down until the last quarter of it and then I smiled.  At the bottom the first thing I said was can I do it again!
I tried to get a good video of McKenzie going down the hill, but it is difficult when she was moving so fast!  Here is my attempt.
Daddy took me up this time to send me down.  I gave Grandpa and Daddy a good work out pushing me up the hill over and over again.
Look at the smile on my face.  I don't think my smile could get any bigger.  I would scream joyously all the way down.
At the bottom, ready to head up for another run.  Sledding is sure fun.
This is my face as I was flying down the hill.
All done and headed back to the car.  I am tired out from the fun and ready for dinner!

winter at the park

February 7, 2012
Grandma had some fun boards that you could learn how to sew.  Here she is teaching me how to do it.
I had fun pulling the string out.  Oops, I pulled it all the way out.  I thought that it was pretty funny.
Doing a little walking and standing on the counter.
There is a nice smile.  My hands would get cold there easily, so I was wearing my socks on my hands and feet.
We went for a walk down to the park, since it was a sunny day.  McKenzie got to ride in the sled down to the park.  It was sure a fun way to travel.
Stopping to take a little break.  She is having a great time.
Makayla got to take a ride in the stroller and then feel asleep.  Here she is all bundled up, staying warm in multiple layers.
I had so much fun that even when we got to the park, I still wanted Daddy to pull me around some more.
We stopped to play at the playground, but it was a little difficult since it was covered in lots of snow.  I kept kicking the snow as I went back and forth and it would slow me down.
There was a little more clearance in the baby swing, so I got in and daddy pushed me.  It was fun to swing in the snow.
I wanted to go down the slide, so daddy had to get the snow off the slide.  It is crazy because the parks where I live are year around parks.
I slid right into the snow.  There was too much snow to be able to slide all the way down.
On the way home I wanted to pull Daddy in the sled.  He was really hard to pull. In fact I couldn't pull him at all, but I tried really hard.
I still wanted to pull the sled, so Daddy got out and we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Ice Castle

February 6, 2013
Grandpa and I had fun putting together and making a train track.  I liked to push the train around on the track.  What a fun toy to play with.
I was able to figure out how the track went together and connect the pieces.
After I played trains, I got dressed up in my apron and chefs hat to do some cooking with Grandma.
I got to chop some nuts and put them in the bowl.  I love to make things.
While my sister cooked with Grandma, I got to hang out with Grandpa.  Some day I will be able to do the fun things with my sister.
That evening we went to the ice castle, that they created in Steamboat, by dripping water and letting it freeze, so that is was like a castle.  Every castle needs a throne and this one is perfect for me to sit on.
It was fun to walk around the ice castle and see all the icicles that had formed.  It was kind of like a maze in places, so it was fun to hide and seek.
They even had lights in the ice so that when the light changed color the ice would change color.  Here is it blue.  I really liked seeing all the different colors.
Walking with Grandpa and Aubrey on our way out.  What a fun little adventure to the ice castle.
When we got home it was time for bed, so Grandma read us a quick book.
Then I got into my pj's and hung out with Aunt Aubrey for a little bit before I had to go to bed.
