Palm Sunday

 March 20, 2016
This morning we tired on our different Easter dresses to see which ones we wanted to wear on Easter and what we would wear today for Palm Sunday.
I chose to wear a pink dress today for Palm Sunday.  Mom took some pictures of us in our fancy dresses after we got home from church.
I thought it would be fun to take pictures of mom taking pictures of me!
Makayla didn't really want her picture taken, so, I stood in front of her and had my picture taken again.
I didn't want to stand up and have my picture taken so mom took some pictures of me anyway.  She was going to try and get a picture later, but I changed my dress before she got a chance.  I guess I will have to wear it again sometime.
There we go at least she got a smile out of me.
I on the other hand was excited to smile for the camera and wanted a picture taken with me and Mom.  We had a nice day celebrating the King of kings on Palm Sunday.

A little bit of randomness in our lives

Tonight as I climbed into bed I was full of the pre bed sillies.  I am not usually this crazy and full of energy before bed!  I started by making silly faces for mom!
And kept making silly faces for her.
There is a smile for her.
Then a silly dance.  You would think that with all this energy I would have been up all night, but 5 minutes later I was fast asleep!
I wanted my picture taken before I went to sleep.  Here is my silly face.
A sweet smile.
Another silly face wondering why Dad is taking over my bed.

We love game night here at our house.  Board games are one of our favorite things to play.  Tonight we were playing shoots and ladders  Daddy and I were on a team because there are only three player tokens.
I snuggled up with Dad while we played the game.  Shoots and ladders can go on forever!

A new car wash just opened up in town and they were giving free car washes to let people know that they are open.  Mom thought she would take us to it after school for a fun surprise.
We had a lot of fun watch the car get washed!

It has taken awhile, but Makayla is finally getting to the point where she can steer the jeep on her own and not with mom turning it.  Here she is having a driving lesson.  My how they grow so quickly and are already driving!

Brody's birthday at Chuck E. Cheese's

March 11, 2016
McKenzie has a birthday party to go to tonight and I wasn't going to go.  To make it a special night, since, Kenzie gets to do something special mom brought home pizza for Daddy and me.  Then to make it even more of a special night I got to watch the movie Frozen for the first time!
Mom tired to get a photo of me eating my pizza on the couch watching the start of Frozen.  She should have got her picture before the movie got turned on.  When mom got home I told her all about the movie.  It was a fun evening with Dad!
While Makayla was eating pizza and watching her movie mom took me to Brody's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's.  I haven't been to Chuck E. Cheese's since I was maybe one year old, so, I was pretty excited to get to go there and see what it was all about!  Some of my good buddies from Pre-K were there celebrating with me.
We got a cup of tokens and are ready to go and try this place out.
First thing Allie and I did was hopped into the fire truck to go for a ride.
This ride takes a picture of you while you are riding!  Mom took a picture of us having our picture taken!
 I played a little whack a shark.
Then I raced a snowmobile down a track.
We took a break for a little pizza.  Noah and I enjoyed our pizza together.
There was a Chuck E. Cheese's up on stage and we all went up to check him out.  He started to move and we thought that was great.
We headed back to play some more games and go on some more rides.
Then when it was time for cake and singing.  Chuck E. Cheese's came out to sing to the birthday boy.
I am excited to eat my birthday cake!
We give a yummy thumbs up to the cake.
I was all smiles at Chuck E. Cheese's.
We had a blast playing in the tunnels there!
A picture of me with the birthday boy!  Happy Birthday Brody!
We had a blast at Chuck E. Cheese's!

Scout's Birthday!

 March 8, 2016
This week we are celebrating Scout's Birthday or his adoption into our family, since, we don't know when he was really born.  Somehow Makayla remembered that Scout's birthday is in March and keeps asking when we are going to throw him a party.
This morning before we headed to school we thought we would have a little picnic with Scout.  We even gave him a plate and some pretend food.  He was willing to sit with us and join in our picnic.  I think he really wanted me to feed him his breakfast, so, he was going to stay close until I feed him!

 March 9, 2016
This picture has nothing to do with Scout's birthday, but it was a really cute one of me, so, it needed to get added!
I gave mom some cute pictures too, so, she put these ones in of me!

Since we were doing portraits we thought we would get a portrait of Scout.  Here is the birthday boy at 9 years old.  Where does the time go?
We thought today to celebrate Scout we would shower him with love!  Nothing like some hugs and petting!
I think he likes it and is telling me to love him some more!
Scout is really good to us girls.  He stayed there and let us hug him for quite awhile.  He puts up with a lot just to get some attention!
There we go!  Our photo with Scout with all of us looking!  That is really hard to get two kids and a dog looking at the camera at the same time!

 March 10, 2016
It has really been raining here the last couple of days which is good!  The lake is rising and helping end the drought!  I like the rain because I get to use my Minnie umbrella!  It kept me dry as we walked from our car to Turtle Bay.
That night we had our party for Scout.  It wasn't a very big party.  Poor Scout doesn't have any dog friends to invite and his best friend Granpy was too far away to attend, so, we settled on just us for a party.  There were no decorations, but there were presents.  I think Scout was just fine with that!
We did a happy birthday dace for Scout!
He sat and waited for his presents!
Scouty loves to unwrap presents!  He gets a little sad when it is our birthday's and he doesn't get to unwrap any gifts.  He was pretty excited that this time the gifts were for him!
We were really good and watched him unwrap the gifts and didn't even help him!
It was fun to give Scout his presents and watch him open them!
Scout got all his present opened.  They were only treats, but he seemed okay with that!
Since Scout got some treats for his birthday we thought we should get some treats for his birthday.  Mom made dog shaped brownies for us!
Here is half of my dog brownie.  We had a great time celebrating Scout.  We really do love that crazy mutt!
