Playing Mary at our Preschool Christmas Chapel!

December 10, 2015
Yesterday I came home from Pre-K very excited because my name was drawn and I was going to play Mary for our chapel.  I asked Mom if she would be able to come and watch me, so, mom figured out what time chapel was and her and Makayla came to watch chapel today.  We started out our chapel with some Christmas songs.
I was pretty excited to have Mom and Makayla there to watch me. I turned around to make sure they were paying attention.
Mrs. Crow helped me get dressed for the part of Mary with my head dress.
Emmett, who played Joseph, and I waited for everybody else to get ready and the play to begin.
Here is a video of the story of how baby Jesus was born that we did for our preschool chapel.
The angel Gabriel came to visit me.
I rode a donkey to Bethlehem.
We found a stable to stay in that would keep us warm.
Baby Jesus was born and I wrapped Him in a swaddling cloth and laid Him in a manger.
The Shepherds came to meet baby Jesus and to pay their respect.
Then the shepherds left to spread the good news.  It was sure fun to get to play Mary.

Playdate

December 8, 2015
Today we had a fun playdate with Brooke and Ella.  It had been way to long since we have gotten together, so, we were really excited to get to play with them!
We got out the Play-Doh sets that I got for my birthday and had a great time playing with it.  Brooke and I made Play-Doh cupcakes together.
While Ella and I had a great time making Play-Doh breakfast food.
After a while we switched and Brooke and I made cupcakes together.  It was sure fun to get to play with my friend Brooke since we don't get to play like we did last year in preschool!

Rice Krispy Treat Trains

December 7, 2015
We have a tradition over the last three years or so of deoratin Rice Krispy Treat trains.  This year we thought we would have some friends come over on a Monday night and decorate the trains while our Dad's headed off to BSF.  After dinner we quickly got to decorating. Collin and Sienna started right in.
I am all ready to get started!
I had fun piping the frosting on my train to get the candies to stick on.
Look at me go!
Collin and his finished product.
Look at how strong I am!  I can bend a train with my two hands.  I really wanted to hold up my finished train, so, Mom could take a picture.
Gus had fun decorating his train.
I put a lot of thought into what to I wanted to add next.
Here is Sienna's train all decorated.  She did a great job on hers!
This is my buddy Isaiah from Pre-K.  His dad coaches basketball in the evenings at a college here in town, so, we thought we would invite him to join us for the train decorating fun!
This is his older brother Tre with his train all decorated.
Last but not least I finally finished decorating my train.  It was sure fun to have friends over!  We sure do have a blast making them every year.

Christmas tree hunting and Redding light parade!

December 5, 2015
Mom got a new camera for Christmas, which, she has been saving up for.  Daddy got it on Black Friday for her and it came in the mail the other day.  She ended up getting it for an early Christmas present, so, she could use it before Christmas.  She got the battery all charged up and thought she would take some pictures of us to practice before we headed out to find a Christmas tree.
I thought that she should take some pictures of me jumping, because, I love to jump and who wouldn't want a picture of that.  Mom on the other hand tried to get me to stand still so that the picture would not come out blurry.
Here I am in between hops.  Lucky thing her new camera has a quick shutter speed, so, she might we able to capture some pictures of me!
She finally got me to stop jumping long enough to get this cute one!
While mom and dad where getting us all ready to head out we had some fun playing with our dollhouses.  Our dollhouses are one of our most played with toys.
This year it has gotten colder and more wet then in the last three years, so, we actually found some snow to play in while we hunted for our Christmas tree.  I wanted to try out my monster snowshoes for a little bit.
I got all bundled up since it was a fairly cold day out there.  The wind was what made it a little chilly.
I wanted a turn with the monster snowshoes after McKenzie was done.  They were a little hard for me to walk in.  I bet next year I will be a champ.
Some Minion smiles for mom!
A couple more good smiles just because some times they are hard to get.

We are all bundled up with our snow gear on and ready to find the perfect Christmas tree.
As we headed up a hill the snow started getting deeper and deeper making it tricky to walk in.  I handled it great and kept going all around through that snow.
I thought I would try a little snow.
Some rosy cheeks from being out in the cold.
We sure had a great time looking for a Christmas tree!
I found this little guys and thought that he would make a perfect Christmas tree for us.  Mom and Dad thought that maybe we should find something a little bigger.
I guess the Christmas tree should be taller than me.  Although it would make it a lot easier for me to decorate the whole tree if it was this size!
A cute pose by our little tree that we picked out before we headed on to find a bigger one.
Daddy and I had fun having a little snow fight.  I thought it was funny that he threw some snow on me.
Here is the tree that we found before Dad cut it down.  It was a little bit bigger than the one that we found early.  In fact we had to cut some of the bottom off or it wouldn't have fit in our house.
We had to stand out of the way of the tree while Daddy was cutting it down, so, it didn't fall on us.  Mom found this nice little stump to sit on while we waited.
I waited by the stump and had fun watching Dad work hard!
After a little bit we switched places and I posed on the tree stump.
This year we headed up to a new place on the north side of Mt. Shasta.  Mt. Shasta is in the background of that hill in front, but it was a overcast today, so, the views of Mt. Shasta weren't very good.
Timber!
I found a branch that Dad cut off the bottom and had a blast waving it around.
You can't go out Christmas tree hunting without a little hot cocoa pick me up at the end.  We got to sit in the back of the pick-up and enjoy our hot cocoa while we watched mom and dad carry the Christmas tree back to the truck.  We sure had a great time find our tree.  We think that Scout might of had the most fun getting to run around everywhere without his leash and that is saying a lot since we all had a blast.
We hurried back to Redding had a very quick crock pot rib dinner and then headed to the Redding Christmas parade.  We love to go and see all the lighted up floats and bands in the parade!
We lucked out this year and the weather was not to back.  We had fun with our Frozen and Minnie light sticks while we watched the parade.
We were so excited to have Collin and Sienna sit with us for the parade.
There were sure some fun floats in the parade this year.
I had a great time waving at everybody as they went by.
I enjoyed watching the parade and drinking my Christmas tea to keep me warm.
This school bus got all decked out for the parade.
After awhile we decided it would be fun to sit with Mom and Dad and watch the parade.  We sure had a fun and busy day!
