Sprinkler

May 4, 2017
We finally had a warm day here in Redmond and we have been itching to wear our new swimsuits and get into the water.
On the way home from school today we asked mom if we could play in the water.  She said that we could look for a sprinkler to run through.
We searched in the garage, the shed, a couple of outdoor boxes that we haven't unpacked and could not find one, then we found this one on the side of the house in the boat parking area.  The people who lived here before must have left it.
Which means that we lucked out and found a sprinkler to run through!
Running through the sprinkler was a great way to cool off today.
I loved every minute of running through the sprinkler and it sure brought a big smile to my face.
It also brought a big smile to my face!
This sprinkler better watch out or I am going to get it.
By jumping up and down for joy.

It took me a little bit longer to get into the sprinkler and really run through it.
Being shorter you get hit more in the face from the water spraying out.
I am planning my sprinkler attack.
I am in the sprinkler.  I am doing it!
Oh no!  It is getting me in the eyes again.
I found the best approach was to cover my eyes as I walked through it.
I went for the run as fast as you can through it approach.
We are all done in the sprinkler and drying off in the sun and playing with our pinwheels which we found in the outside box while looking for the sprinkler.
I climbed up on the railing to dry off and hang out with mom on the porch while she used her new table and chairs.
I had fun playing with my pinwheel and cooling off in the sprinkler.

Posing with painted nails

April 30, 2017
This afternoon we headed out back to paint our toenails and finger nails.  After mine had dried I was still sitting outside and I was posing just perfectly for mom to go and get her camera and take some pictures.
Here are some of the photos from my painted nails photo shoot!

My serious look.
I came outside to join the photo shoot, but didn't get into it as much because the sun was in my eyes.  Having blues eyes can be so hard sometimes!
We headed out front to hangout in Mom's new chairs.
I was a lot more willing to do a photo shoot when the sun wasn't in my eyes.

We fit in one chair and were able to get some photos together.

I wanted to do one more picture in McKenzie's chair.  We sure had fun taking pictures and painting our nails!

Baby goats

April 29, 2017
After our soccer games today we thought we would head and check out the C.R.O.P (Crooked River Open Pastures).  CROP has different events and farmers markets at different farms in Crook County through out the spring and summer.  Today was the first one and they were doing a goat jamboree.
Dad and I were hungry so we went and found some food while mom and McKenzie went and learned how to take care of a goat.
I learned all about how to care for a goat.  I am ready to be a goat owner someday.
We headed over to see the baby goats!
Those baby goats are so cute!
We had fun watching those cute kids play!
They are so adorable when they are little.
I was trying to convince one of the baby goats to come over to the fence so I could pet it!
We ended up getting to go into the pen to play with the goats!
I am trying to catch this white and brown one to pet him or her!
I am getting closer, but he quickly climbed over the logs!
I am not so sure about catching a goat.
Come here little one!  I just want to pet you!
Another little boy caught one and we headed over to pet it while it couldn't run away!
I finally caught up to the white and brown one and was able to pet him.
The mama goat and I had a good conversation about her letting me pet her baby!
I thought a good way to convince her would be to pet her and see that I meant no harm!
Success!  I was able to catch a baby goat and pet it!
It was so sweet and fun to pet!
This baby goat was all white.
I was telling the Mama goat that Makayla wanted to pet one of her babies too and to not be afraid.  I bet you didn't know that I am a goat whisper!
Yeah, the goat it going to stay there for me to pet it!
We had a fun time with the baby goats today!
