Discovering the trails of Redding

March 22, 2014
The city of Redding and miles and miles of trail running through it and around it.  Mom picked up a new trail map the other day and we decided to go and explore on this beautiful sunny Saturday.  Mom really liked the tree, so, she actually took a picture that didn't have us in it!
The path was a dirt one, but it was still rideable.  I love to ride my bike, so I was excited that this bath was balance bike friendly.
I got to take the usual ride in the stroll.  I had fun pointing things out as we went.
It isn't a hike with Dad unless you stop to check out the river for fish!  We spotted some future fishing spots.
Vroom Vroom!  I am off to do some more exploring.  The wild flowers were out in full bloom.  It really was a great day to be out.  It was a wonder morning with our family!

a little quiet time in the word

March 25, 2014
Today, mommy stepped out of the room for a moment and when she came back she found me in the corner reading in my little pink bible.  I have been carrying these little bibles around with me all over the house.  I thought it was time to sit down and have a little quiet time.
I got some good reading in and needed a moment to think about what I read.
I wonder if the other one says the same thing.
I read that I am supposed to go out and share the good news with all I meet, so here you go.  I thought I would share it with you.
When I walk around with the little bibles I will show it to you and say, 'bible".  Whenever, I see one I tell you that what it is.  Mommy tried to get me to say it on the video.  So, here I am usuing a couple of my few words I have.

Shiloh's 4th Birthday

March 20, 2014
Today, was Shiloh's 4th birthday and we headed to the park by their house to help her celebrate turning 4.  I got a fun party hat with a princess tassel.
Collin and I are excited to have our party hats on and run off to play.
Sweet Hannah helped me to put my party hat on.  I stood very still for her.
My party hat didn't stay on my head too long, but I still had fun playing at the party!
Happy Birthday Shiloh!  Here she is blowing out her candles on her cupcake!
These are some yummy cupcakes that I just took a big bite of.
Collin and I had fun eating our cupcakes together at the picnic table.
This cupcake is sure messy, but yummy.  Lets see if I can lick it off.  Happy Birthday Shiloh!  We had a lot of fun at her birthday!

Outdoor fun

March 15, 2014
Today was a beautiful spring day, so, we headed out on a hike at Whiskeytown lake.  We started out by having a little picnic before we hit the trail.  We had fun siting in the back of the car.

 These sandwiches sure are yummy!
I was excited to get one for both hands!
I got my shades on and am ready to go!
I got my shades on and am ready to go too!
I love to get out and go on adventures.
Check out these hiking shoes.  I bet I will be able to go miles and miles!
Well, I didn't get to walk miles in my cute little sneakers, but I love my backpack.  Daddy and I had a great time hiking together.  He walked and I finished my sandwich!
It was beautiful along the lake.  Mom had me stop and pose for a picture.
During nap time, mom cleaned up the water table and got it all ready for us to play in.  I was pretty excited to get to play in the water table.
I had so much fun in the water.  Splashing around and getting wet.
I found that my hand did a great job of splashing water all over.  It would even get my face.
I did a great job of showing my sister how to play at the water table.  After all, I am one experienced water table user.
Yep, that looks about right.  I think that will do!
We had fun playing together
and cooling off!
After getting myself wet, I needed to take a break, so,

I came and sat on the lawn couch.  It sure was a fun day in the sun.

A backyard cookout!

March 14, 2014
Today while mommy was at work, she asked Daddy to get the fire pit out so we could have a cookout in our backyard.  I was really excited about the idea and then my stomach started to hurt and I wasn't so sure about it.  Here I am trying to have fun roasting my hot dog.
I got to try a hot dog for the first time.  I ate it, but not as well as you would have thought.  I much would rather have the fruit that was on my plate.  Especially the strawberries!
Mommy gave me some medicine for my tummy and it started to feel better, so, Belle and I came back over and tried roasting our hot dog again.
Daddy surprised Mommy by creating a pad for the fire pit in a dead spot in the grass.  It looked great and a great way to use some of the stones we took out when we built the play structure.
After dinner, we got out the marshmallows to roast and make some s'mores.
Daddy did a good job of teaching me how to turn my marshmallow, so that, it is golden brown and perfect for the s'more.
I was excited about the s'mores too.  They sounded so yummy!
This is sure one yummy s'more roasted to perfection!
I am glad my tummy started to feel better, so that, I could enjoy the cookout.  What a great idea.  I hope we can do this again soon!
So, I didn't get a s'more, but I did get a graham cracker.  The graham cracker was okay by me!  I had a great time playing outside and eating!
