Fall tea party!

November 21, 2013
Mommy wanted to get a cute picture of the two of us for our Christmas card.  She took lots of pictures of us, but none of them really worked out for the card.  Here are some that are almost there, but not quite.
A cute one of McKenzie on the princess pillow.  Makayla was ready for a nap so she didn't really go for the pillow!
While Makayla was napping, we made Turkey sandwiches and veggie cornucopias for our fall tea party.
After her nap, Makayla was up for the princess pillow photo, but McKenzie wasn't quite ready!
We got busy setting the table for my tea party!
We had fun playing peek-a-boo to get Makayla to smile!  I think she likes it.
McKenzie was really excited to have her picture taken and started doing the really excited fake smile.
And the really really excited fake smile!
Mommy thought she would try to get a photo of us out on our swing set.  It was quite windy that day, so we didn't last long before giving up.  This was the best of the swing set photos.  Mommy decided to just do individual pictures of us and a family photo.  It was way easier!
It was almost time for the tea party to begin, so mommy made some fruit turkey!
The table is set and now I just need my friends to show up!
We made our own place mats for our tea.  Mommy was going to do these Thanksgiving boats, but couldn't figure out how to get them together.  Lucky thing Grandma gave me some Thanksgiving stickers and Grammy sent some foam Thanksgiving stickers the day before, so that, we had a craft to do!
It was tea time.  Shiloh, Corban, David, and I had a great time pouring and drinking our tea.  Some spills were had, but we sure had fun.
I would like to point out Makayla in the picture.  She decided that she was big enough to join her 1st tea party, so she came on over and stood herself up to join in the fun.  It wont be too long before we can have tea parties together.
Cheers!
It was time to eat our lunch with our food!  Fun food, good tea, and friends a perfect lunch.
I am glad I could have my friends over for a tea party.  I can't wait to have another one!

Visiting Allison!

November 14, 2013
My friend Allison moved away last June and we kept wanting to visit her, but haven't made it until now.  Makayla's top tooth finally cut through and she was a lot happier baby, so, with some nice weather we decided to go see Allison and her mom!  We had fun playing dress up.
Sara had some fun crafts to do.  We made some cute pine cone turkeys.  I love to craft!
We headed outside to play a little bit.  I had fun getting down on the ground, well, all of me but my foot.
Allison was sweet enough to push me on her swing set!
We came in had a great lunch.  A really cute pizza that looked like a turkey and made some reindeer.  Thanks Sara and Allison for having us.  It was great to see you!  We miss you!

Mommy has been busy doing laundry, which means, the laundry baskets are out to play with.  Makayla wanted to get into the basket and I had fun pushing her around.
I had fun reading books in the laundry basket.
Mommy got to her and Daddy's laundry, so we got a bigger laundry basket to play with.  Daddy lifted us up to take us on a ride.  Makayla was fascinated about how far off the ground she was.
We had fun playing in the basket together.
Makayla wanted to climb out because she was done in the basket.  I don't know if she will be able to crawl out, but she is going to give it her best chance.

I love the little rocking chair that we have.  I climb in it and sit down, then I climb out of it.  I do this over and over again and it makes me so happy!  Here are some pictures where I don't think I could be anymore joyful.  I hope you have as much joy today as I have!

We got package in the mail today from our Great Grandma Wilma.  I was excited to open it and see what was inside!
I got princess stamps.  I love to stamp and love princesses!  How perfect.
I got a cute lady bug.  I had fun pushing his eyes and nose and giving it snuggles.  Thanks Great Grandma!

Caleb's birthday party

November 9, 2013
Today, was Caleb's 6th birthday party.  He had a cars themed party.  It was a lot of fun.  We played stick the headlight on Mater.  I had fun trying to get it on.
There was a really cool race track that we had a tournament for to see whose car was the fastest.  You started with four cars, but only one could make it to the bottom.  My car finished in second out of all the cars.  I picked a quick car.
David and I had fun racing our cars down the ramp after the tournament was done.
They had a tire throw to see if you could get the ball through the tire.  It was pretty tough, but I had fun trying.
We sang happy birthday to Caleb.  He had race car ice cream sandwiches.
 Which I thoroughly enjoyed!
Shiloh and I had fun eating our ice cream sandwiches together.
Then I played on the ship that they have in their backyard with Collin.
Giving the birthday boy a hug good bye!  It was sure a fun birthday party!

Taking Grandma and Grandpa to Turtle Bay

November 11, 2013
Today, is our last day with Grandma and Grandpa before they have to head back to Colorado.  We were going to head down to Sacramento, but Makayla is working hard on her other top front tooth and it is making her fussy.  I can't say I blame her it has to really hurt.  That morning we got in some good book reading with Grandma!
Then we took Grandma and Grandpa to one of my favorite places to go in Redding, Turtle Bay!  Here I am riding my post horse.  It didn't go to fast, but I had fun pretending.
I had to show Grandpa the old truck that you can drive.  I had fun driving him around.
We had fun watching the fish and figuring out what type of fish they were.
Grandma and I found a little cave to hide in.
I wanted to show them how brave I was on the big log tunnel slide!
I wanted to climb onto the bench, so that I could sit.  I had fun walking around the bench and hanging out with Grandpa.
Thanks Grandpa for helping me onto the bench, so that, we could sit together.
I wanted to show Grandpa how brave I was by going down the little green slide.  That was a fun slide!
I really good picture of us with Grandma and Grandpa all smiling in front of the train engine.
A sweet picture of Grandma and me by the train engine.
Look there really are turtles at Turtle Bay!
I got a shoulder ride on Daddy while we crossed over the wood bridge to head home.  It was fun to be able to take Grandma and Grandpa to Turtle Bay.  Thanks for coming and visiting us!  We had a great time.
