4 year old well child check up

November 15, 2016
Today I had to go in for my 4 year old well child check up at a new doctors office.  The four year old one is always a big check-up because they do all of your boosters, plus the flu shot, and in Oregon you have to get hepatitis A, which, means that I got 4 shots today.  I did really well with my first shot and didn't cry at all then when the second shot came my face got sadder and sadder until I had full crocodile tears at the end.  It was so sad for mom to watch that we treated ourselves to Happy Hour at Sonic after wards.  My strawberry lemonade real fruit slushy sure was yummy and made me feel better!
I got a clean bill of health from the doctor.  I weighed 35 1/2 lbs and was 40 inches long.  I am one average little kid or at least that is what my measurements say.  Every time I get measured I ask if I am tall enough to go on the bumper cars at California Adventure yet.  I have been able to do that for a while now (about 5 inches ago), but somethings in our life we set as a standard.

Visiting Gee Gee on Uncle Josh and Dad's birthday

November 10, 2016
Today we are headed to Uncle Dan and Aunt Nancy's house to see them and Gee Gee.  We had a little time before we headed that way, so, I brought my magic trick box down that I got.  Grandpa helped me figure out how to do a couple of magic tricks.
Here I am preforming one of my tricks.  It sure was fun to learn some magic with Grandpa.
We were so excited to get to see Gee Gee and catch up with her.  I gave her a great big hug and of course mom had to get a photo.
I also headed over to give Gee Gee a hug and get a picture with her.
Grandma has a kaleidoscope app on her ipad and I was showing Gee Gee, Great Aunt Nancy, and Liam how it worked.
Aunt Kate read me one of the books that they had there for Liam.
McKenzie always loves a good book, so, she came over to hear the story.
A four generation picture.
I had a blast playing with Liam.  Liam is Amanda (Dad's cousin) little boy.  It was sure fun to play with him and all his toys.
Abi came over to play peek-a-boo with Gee Gee.
That evening Great Aunt Nancy had reserved a room at a yummy Italian place near by.  She even got a cake to celebrate Dad and Uncle Josh's birthday!  Oh by the way, Happy Birthday Daddy and Uncle Josh!
We got to sing to the birthday boys and then have some cake!!!!
I went and hung out with Dad while we ate our cake.
I enjoyed my cake with Grandma.
Do you think Uncle Josh is coming over to sneak some of my cake.  I am sure he is not.  There is lots of cake!
Before we headed out we wanted to get a family group picture.
We took a bunch with swapping out different people.
Here is one with everyone except Kate who is taking the picture.
One more with Aunt Kate that mom is taking.  We sure had a great time seeing Gee Gee and appreciate Uncle Dan and Aunt Nancy for welcoming us into their home and doing a birthday celebration.

November 11, 2016
We unfortunately and sadly didn't get to see Great Grandma.  She had made some very cute things for us girls, so, we tried them on.  She made this very pretty dress for Abi.
There is Uncle Josh and Abi in her pretty dress that Great Grandma made.
While mom and dad got all packed up we went and played with Grandma and Grandpa in their room.
Grandma got a picture of us in our very cute aprons that Great Grandma made us.  We can't wait to cook in them when we get home!
It was time to say good bye and give hugs to everyone.  We had a long drive back to Oregon and Abi and her family had a long plane trip back to England.
We sure had a wonderful visit with everyone and it was sure great to meet Abi and see Aunt Kate and Uncle Josh again.

Books, bows, parachutes, and ball poppers

November 8, 2016
This morning we started our day off with a story with Grandma!
We always love reading with Grandma!
We had a great time playing with the toys and this box.  We love a big box that you can climb in and play in.
Aunt Aubrey came over to play with me!
Abi was enjoying her breakfast.
She made the greatest silly faces!
We love to shoot the bow and arrow while we are at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Daddy helped me load it up.
Watch out mom or I am going to get you!
We headed to the park in downtown Steamboat.  Abi had fun swinging.
I had a great time with Grandma pushing me.
Grandma brought her parachute down to the park for us to play with.  Abi and I had a great time crawling under the parachute.
I showed Abi how to get low when the parachute was lowering on us.
Makayla grabbed some handles and helped make the parachute go up and down!
I tired to push the parachute back up from the middle.
Makayla decided to join in the fun under the parachute.  We sure had a great time with the parachute at the park!
When we finished with the parachute we headed over to the play structure to play around and slide.
Aunt Aubrey and I had fun swinging by each other.
Makayla had been asking to do the ball poppers since we got to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  She was told that when Grandpa got home from work he would get them out to play with.  The minute he walked in the door Makayla was right there asking about the ball poppers.  Abi was a great help!  She wanted to find the balls we shot and then put them back in the ball popper.
The balls are all loaded and ready for me to shoot off a round.
Abi thought it was hysterical when we shot the balls off and would laugh and scream with delight every time.
Every single time.  It was quite cute.
I am shooting them into the box.  If I get close I wont miss!
Uncle Josh came and helped Abi shoot the ball popper.
Hey mom I am busy shooting my ball popper and don't have time for pictures.
I take this ball popping very seriously.
We started the day with a book with Grandma and finished the day with a book with Grandma.  That is a good day!
For Christmas Grandma made me this special beautiful purple star quilt that I love.  We snuggled up under it and read some books tonight.  I am sure there are going to be lots of books read snuggled up under this special quilt.  Thank you Grandma for the quilt!
