The cats away the mice with play!

We love to match each other and we love to match our dolls.  I asked Grammy if she would make me an outfit, so that, Belle and I could match.
Grammy went above and beyond and made me a dress and then she made matching ones for Belle, Makayla, Katie, and Rebecca. She even quickly made one for Katelyn when she found out I was getting her for my birthday!
Thanks Grammy!  We have sure enjoyed our matching dresses!
Dad is out of town in Prineville this week and mom had to work a couple of days, because, she was really busy at work, so, Grammy and Granpy came to help out while mom was working.  We had fun hanging out while we got ready to head out.
We had a fun morning of reading books!
I didn't really want to sit and take a picture for Grammy.
We had fun looking at a sticker animal book with Grammy.
It was sure a fun day with Grammy and Granpy.
As a thank you for watching us girls while mom was at work, she took us all out to dinner.  We headed to the airport for some Chinese food.
We love to go to the airport, so, we were excited when we decided to head there.
I can't wait for my food to come!
I would hate to sit still while I waited for my food!
We love to play airport with Granpy when he comes to visit us, so, it only seems fitting that we would take him to the real airport to get some food!
This time when he came, we expanded the game of airport to include airplane too.
Granpy is so excited that Makayla is getting in on playing airport to.  We had fun at dinner with him.
We love eating with chop sticks when we eat at the airport.
This cape has been come a must wear for me.  I take it off when I go to bed or leave the house, but then I put it back on as soon as I wake up or get home.
I am sure enjoying my peanut butter waffle for breakfast.
This Saturday is my first soccer game.  I am glad that Grammy and Granpy could come and watch me play.
Here I am running to the ball.
I am excited to have a lot of friends on my team this year.  Collin is on my team again and Allison is playing with us this time.  Plus, there are two other boys from my preschool class on the team.  We are having a fun time playing together.
Mom is coaching our team again this fall.
Here we are ready to kick off.  We had a fun game!
Grammy tried to get a picture of me while we watched McKenzie play soccer.
We headed home after the game and first things first was to put my cape on!
I found my cape to wear while I made a card.
Yesterday, Grammy and Granpy took us to Target to look for some new sheets for my bed, since, I am down to one set.  While we were there, we found this cute butterfly comforter in a bag set for my bed.  Mom had planned on making me a quilt for my bed, but lets be realistic since we all know it wasn't going to happen,
I was very excited about putting it on my bed and see what it looks like!  I love it!
Makayla wanted to try out the comforter with me and we had fun posing on my new comforter!
Thanks Grammy and Granpy for everything.  We had a great time!

Our drive back from Colorado

August 15, 2015
We have had a fun week in Colorado, but we have to get back in the car and head home.  Before we left, we got a picture with us and Grandma and Grandpa on their front porch.
Our car is all loaded up and we are ready to pile in and head home.  We have sure had a fun week in Steamboat!  Thanks for everything Grandma and Grandpa!
On the way back home, I asked if we would stop and walk on the salt flats of Utah.  There is a rest area not far from the Nevada border that is a perfect place to stop and access the salt flats.
I was so fascinated by what the salt flat would be like.  I just could not grasp what they really were as we drove through them.  I kept asking question after question after question.
I wasn't so sure about going out onto the flats, but mom carried me out and put me down on it and then I had fun playing on it!
I really wanted to go stomp in the water, but mom discouraged that idea.  It was still cool to at least get to walk on!
I found a stick and wanted to write my name in the salt!
Here is my name I wrote.
Makayla wanted her name written in the salt, so, mom borrowed my stick and wrote it for her.
A picture of the salt flats.  It was a beautiful evening out there!
Mom had to get a picture of us out on the sand flat together!
There we go, Scouty made it in the picture too.  It was a fun stop!
The next day, I was one tired little one from all the fun over the last week and fell fast asleep as we headed home.  I must have been pretty tired, because, we don't usually sleep in the car.

Swimming at the pool and the rodeo

August 14, 2015
Today, Grandma wanted to take us to the swimming pool that she goes to.  While Dad and Grandpa went out fishing, us girls headed to the hot springs pool.
They have a bunch of different pools that the hot springs flow into heating them to different temperatures.  The water was a nice temperature to sit around in and enjoy.
I had fun showing Grandma all that I have learned this summer.  How I can now float on my back!
How I can swim one my own for a little bit now!
I wanted to show Grandma all I have learned.  That would be jumping up and down as I walked along the bottom of the pool.
I had fun jumping around!
It was sure fun to swim in Grandma's pool with her.
I had fun floating around on a pool noodle!
We took Dad's waterproof camera and thought we would try it out.  We have never been brave enough to take it underwater, but thought we should give it a chance since that is what it supposed to do.  Here I am underwater holding my breath.
Look I have a bubble mustache from blowing air out of my nose.
We headed out to one of the warmer pools to see what it was like.
They were nice to sit in, but too hot to swim around in.
Grandma tried to get me to float in the pool!
A picture of us hanging out on the stairs together!
We ended up trying out four of the five pools they have there.  This one Grandma took us over to the water fall to feel the water coming down.
The hot springs pools were too warm to actually swim around in, so, we headed to the forth pool of the day which is the regular pool.  Mom and I had fun taking underwater pictures together!
Here we are swimming toward Grandma!
Grandma and I got in on the underwater fun!
Mom with her girls having a good time in the pool!
After the swim lessons were over in the little kid pool, they put out fun sea creatures that you could climb on and play on!  I got up on the star fish!
I really like the water sea creature!
Thanks Grandma for the fun morning at the swimming pool.
After swimming, we headed to Double Z to catch up with the guys and have some lunch.  Well, we should have known, that the guys wouldn't have made it back from fishing in time for lunch like they thought.  We still had a nice lunch with out them and they had a great day out on the river fishing!
That evening we headed to the Steamboat rodeo to check out there rodeo.  Grandpa and I had fun watching the rodeo together.
Grandma and I had fun taking pictures of ourselves at the rodeo.
We tried to get a family picture of us at the rodeo, but Makayla didn't really want to look at the camera.
Aunt Aubrey works at the rodeo, but she took a minute to come over and say hi to us.
As the sun was going down it cause the mountain in the background to glow red which is called alpine glow.  I wanted my picture taken with the alpine glow in the background.
Mom and I had fun watching the rodeo together!
They do a mutton scramble.  They bring all the kids five years and younger out onto the rodeo grounds to chase after a sheep and get the ribbon off of its tail. The first person to grab the ribbon gets a prize.  I was excited to get to chase after the sheep.
Here is a video of me chasing after the sheep.
I didn't catch the sheep, but I did have fun running after him.  We had a great time at the rodeo.
