Evening VBS for our parents!

 July 25, 2014
On the last day of VBS in the evening, they invite the parents to come and experience what their kids have been doing all week!  I found Allie and we hung out while we waited for it to begin!
Mom and I hung out where I could walk around before it started.  She didn't know how long I would quietly sit during the skit.
After the skit, all of us kids head up to the stage to sing the songs and do the motions that we learned this week.  Since, I was one of the youngest, I got to be up front on the stage!
Makayla thought that she wanted to come on the stage.  She sat there with Kerrie for a little bit and then came down to sing with Mom in the front row!
I loved to sing the songs and praise God!
Look at my strong arms.  They are pretty strong, but God's arms are the strongest!
I can't get enough of the songs, even now, every time we get into the car the first I ask is for is to turn on my VBS songs.
Here is a video of me singing part of one of the songs!
I really got into worshiping too and would dance along.  I would even try to sing along the best that I could.
I had fun hanging out with mommy during the songs.
I would try to do some of the hand motions that went with the songs.  Now how did that go again?
Here is a video of me doing the hand motions.  So sweet!
After it was over, we headed outside where there was Popsicles and ice cream.  I was a fan of the Popsicle.
I was pretty excited about the Popsicle, since, it was the type that I wanted after my 4 year old doctor's appointment.  It had two stick, which, meant it could be broken apart and Makayla and I got to share one.
They had an area set up for baptisms for those who wanted to be baptised.  We headed over and found Sienna and had a seat to watch!
It was fun to watch the baptisms and eat our Popsicles together.
We hung out and played for a little while.  Daddy put me on his shoulders, so that, I could be really tall!
This is Delaney, who was a helper in Mom's fourth grade class.  We had a lot of fun playing together at the end when we waited for all the parents to pick their kids!

VBS

July 21, 2014
Today is the first day of VBS (vacation bible school) at our church.  We got ready quickly and had a quick bite to eat before we headed to the church!
I am so excited to go to VBS this year.  I get to be in the 2's and 3's class that Mr. Donnie teaches.  McKenzie has told me how much fun it is going to be in there!
I am so excited about VBS this year, because, it the first year that I actually get to be in a real class.  I get to be in the Pre K class!  This is going to be my 5th VBS and as wonderful as the last ones.
All right mom, we are all ready to head out.  This years theme is Treasure Island, so, we tried to find some tropical summer island clothes.
Mom is teaching a 4th grade class this year instead of making lunches for all the volunteers.  We went to hang out in her class while she got everything ready for the morning.  She brought our beach towels for the kids to sit on during the bible teaching time.  I on the other hand did not think that my Minnnie towel should be in there and I should take it with me.  I am very attached to Minnie Mouse right now.
I loved the worship time.  A couple of weeks before VBS we got the song list and mommy and Daddy put the songs on my little MP3 player and we listened to them in the car.  By the time VBS started, I new most of the words to all the songs, so, I could sing along!
That evening we headed out to Round Table Pizza for dinner.  We got a free individual pizza at Round Table from the summer reading program at the Library.  I was excited to go and get my pizza!
I have been carrying around my coupon wanting to use it since we got it a couple of weeks ago.  When we got there, mom asked me what I wanted on my pizza and I thought for a second and then told her "olive".  That is what I got, a cheese and olive pizza and it was yummy!

We are excited about another morning at VBS!
When mom asked me what I was most looking forward to doing at VBS, I told her everything!  I just have a wonderful time there worshiping and learning about Jesus!
I am quite smiley for so early in the morning!

A quick pose as we headed out for another day at VBS!
Mom brought our turtle and whale from our pool to help decorate her room.  We played and played with them while we were in her classroom.  We even carried them all over the church!
Every time I would see the turtle, I would giggle and say "tur-tle" and go running to get him!
A little sisterly love to start off the day!
Shelley, so, nicely used mommy's camera to take some pictures of us while mom was teaching her class.  Today, we decorated an anchor because Jesus is our anchor!
I had fun eating snack in our classroom!
That night, we headed out to Red Robin for dinner.  We didn't have a lot of groceries at our house this week and Mom didn't have time to grocery shop, so, we ate out a couple of nights.  I am obviously not to upset!
I was happy to go out and eat at Red Robin.  I got the best of both worlds, when, I got to share some of mom's chicken sandwich and Dad's hamburger!  Plus, I got the bacon that was supposed to go on mom's chicken sandwich!
Some water for a thirsty girl!

Today, I was really excited about the mermaid that was on my shirt.  How perfect for treasure island VBS!
I didn't have a mermaid shirt, but this tropical tourist shirt was just perfect!
Mom was so excited about all the cute pictures she got of the two of us.  This is four days in a row with both of us looking and smiling at the same time!
This is Kerrie!  She is the children's leader at our church and is the one who makes such a wonderful VBS happen at our church!  It is a tradition to have our picture taken every year together, so, this year we headed to the ocean for a photo-op!  There is one more day of VBS, but mom went to work and Daddy took us and helped out in her class.  We had a wonderful week learning about God and Jesus!

Mother Daughter Tea!

July 19, 2014
Yesterday was Shelley's birthday and as a way to celebrate her birthday, she suggested a mother daughter tea at a local tea house.  We all got dressed up in pretty dresses for the lunch tea.  I hung out on the chair while we waited for everybody to show up.
Shelley offered to take a sweet picture of mommy and I while we waited for everybody!
Shiloh and I found seats by each other and had fun trying the tea!
Here we are all having a great time at our tea!
I sure loved the tea.  It was a Hibiscus C tea!  It was not only yummy, but also pink!  How fun is that!  I also enjoyed my tea sandwiches and brownie!
Allie sat on the other side of me, but came over so that us four year olds could have our picture taken together.
All of us girls together for a picture.
We had a wonderful time at the tea.  We had one more picture taken of the group of us as we headed out.  It was sure a fun way to celebrate Shelley's birthday!
That evening we headed over to the Geyer's house for a small group BBQ.  After swimming around in the pool and jumping off the side all by myself, I got brave enough to jump off the big rock into the pool!
Here is a video of me jumping off the rock.  After I did it the first time, I went right back on to do it again and again.  I always held mom or dad's hand, but I had a blast jumping off the big rock.
 A pose for the camera!
We had chocolate chip cookies with ice cream!  I laid out to warm up while I ate my dessert.
I was excited to get some dessert too!  Look at all this yummy dessert in my bowl.
 Look at this big bite!
I almost got it all in my mouth!  We had a fun evening with our small group.
