Playing at Grandma and Grandpa's house

December 21, 2013
When we got to Grandma and Grandpa's house, a ride on the airplane is a must.  I have ridden on the airplane quite a few times, but this was Makayla's maiden voyage.  I thought it would go better if we rode together.  I think she might have another thought about that.
After the initial uncertainty, Makayla thought that the airplane was great and a lot of fun.
Makayla wanted a turn to fly the plane!  She did a great job of flying us around.
I like being in the front and taking my sister around for a change of pace!
Grandma found me a special snowman mug to drink out of when I was here.  I sure enjoyed my hot cocoa.
Right down to the last drop!  Hey, do I have anything on my face?
We are two smiley gals for the camera.

We had fun playing blocks in the great room together!
Grandma read us a bedtime story!

From when we got here on Saturday, it has not stopped snowing!  It has probably snowed a good 2 feet!  We thought that we would head outside and shovel off the drive way.  Daddy got out the big guns for snow removal.
I put my monster snow shoes on and walked around in the snow making monster tracks.  It was fun to make monster tracks.
I took off my snow shoes and wanted to help shovel the drive way.  It was hard work, but I did a good job.
Here we go down the drive way!
All the way to the bottom when mommy or daddy dumped my shovel out.
The snow plow came to plow the road and it scared me, so, I went to be safe on the porch.  I also found a good resting place on the rocking chair while I waited for the snow plow to go back down the hill.
Mommy put on Grandma's snow shoes and I put on my monster snow shoes and we took on the deeper snow in the front yard.  I am glad I had snow shoes or I might have sunk in the snow up to my head!
Mom and I on my first snow shoeing adventure.
We brought in a cup full of clean untouched snow to make some ice cream.  I had chocolate peppermint.  We added flavored creamer to the snow and it made some yummy ice cream.
It was sure yummy!  I am glad I got to try snow ice cream.

Onward to Colorado!

December 18, 2013
We are headed to Colorado for Christmas and flying out of San Francisco, so we took the BART (the train) into the airport.  I had fun standing up with daddy and holding onto the handle!
I thought it was fun to ride the train.  We are getting in a lot of different modes of transportation today.  First we rode in the car, then we took the train, followed by the airplane, and then the bus to get us to our hotel in Denver.  It was a long day of travel, but we enjoyed ourselves.  Mom is go glad that God blessed her with who do well traveling.
I had fun sitting by the window and looking out.

 December 19, 2013
The next day, Grandpa and Grandma picked us up from our hotel and we drove to Julesburg, CO to Great Grandma's house to see her!  For those who do not know where Julesburg is (which is probably most of the country) it is in the northeastern corner of Colorado by Nebraska!  We can now say that we have been to Nebraska and Wyoming!
Great Grandma was so sweet to have a come invade her house.  She even had some nice Christmas presents to open!  I got a lamb hand puppet which I had fun putting on my hand!  Thanks Great Grandma!  I love it.
I got to open a present too.  Great Grandma got me a princess blanket, which I had with me almost every moment I was in Colorado.  I Love my princess blanket and sleep with it at naps and bedtime every night.  Thanks Great Grandma!
A picture with us girls and Great Grandma!
Great Uncle Rick came by to join us for dinner.  It was fun meeting him for the first time!
We also got a music box, which I loved to hear the music to.
A little snuggle time with Great Grandma, while I enjoy my bottle.
The next morning, I did a little coloring on Grandma's computer.  Grandpa and Daddy helped me figure it out.
A sweet picture of me with Daddy and Grandpa.
A good bye hug for Great Grandma before we leave to Steamboat Springs.
We tried to get one with Great Grandma and us girls, but we weren't really up to it.  Maybe next time.
Then we tried one with Daddy so we could get three generations.
Great Grandma and Grandma with us girls!
All four generations together at once.  Thanks Great Grandma for having us!  We had a wonderful time.

1st Christmas

  December 15, 2013
We decided to open presents from each other and ones that we already had from others before Christmas, since, we couldn't take them on a plane to Colorado.  I was excited to open some presents.  I am getting the hang of it!
We all ended up getting the stomach flu a couple of days before we left.  We are still getting over it and our energy back tonight when we were opening presents.  McKenzie is gaining the strength to open her presents.
Scout was excited to get a present that he got to unwrap!  That dog loves to open gifts!  He may like it more than the girls!
Sweet Makayla thought that Scout might need some help opening his gift.
Scout told her he didn't want any help and by the look on her face she was none to pleased with him.
I wonder what is in this package!
How do we get these princesses out of the box!  I love the princesses and car that Great Uncle Dan and Aunt Linda sent us.
I was excited to get a car with Ariel in it.
Look its Beauty and the Beast.  Thanks Great Uncle Dan and Aunt Linda.
I got a fun block game from Uncle Scott, Aunt Sarah, and my cousins.  I had a blast playing it!
This is perfect for the fridge!  It makes noise, lights up, and is magnetic!  Thanks Seattle Herzog's!  This should help mommy get dinner on the table!
I got a really big box to unwrap and I took it on with enthusiasm.
It was so big that I needed to climb on the box to get the wrapping paper off.  Well, maybe I just wanted to climb on the box.
I wonder what is in this box.  Does it really matter, because climbing on the box seems fun enough!
Look, I can use it as a stepping stool to climb onto the ottoman.  This gift is great!
Mommy, Daddy, and McKenzie got me a slide for Christmas.  I was excited to try it out, but unfortunately it didn't come with all the parts, which, is really sad since there are only three parts.  I decided that I should climb up the slide and give it a try, since we could put it together.
Great Aunt Helen got us the Klip Klop Royal Stable and some extra princess and horses.  WE loved the stables and played with it until bedtime.  It was fun to see us both enjoying the same toy at the same time.  Mom was glad that Aunt Helen got the extra horses, so that there were plenty for each of us!  Thanks Aunt Helen!

Walking

I have been doing really well with my walking lately and go further and further each time.  Mom took this video of me early in December walking, but forgot to put it on.  Here I am have a blast while walking
