It is spring time again and that means that the baby goats have been born! Yeah!
Kerrie invited us out to play with the baby goats. It is always a highlight of our year. I thought I would try to meet a mama goat before I picked up the babies.
AHHHHHHHH! Here I come ready for not! I am going to catch you!
I had a blast chasing after all the goats.
I was a little hesitant about picking up the babies at first.
Half the fun was in trying to catch them.
I had better luck catching one. I had Sara catch one and then had her help me hold it. Mom likes to go and see the goats with Sara because she will pick the up and help us with them and she doesn't have to touch them or come very close to them!
I was pretty excited to get to hold a baby goat!
Kerrie helped me catch my first baby goat! Thanks for the help!
I was pretty excited to get to hold one by myself.
I have become such a little animal lover.
Check out this cute little goat!
Allie and I had a great time with the goats!
Where did that goat go?
I think I see him in there playing hide-n-seek!
I had a great time petting the baby goat that Kerrie had!
A sweet picture with Kerrie, me, and a kid!
After my initial hesitancy about catching the goats was gone, I didn't stop chasing after them and catching them.
Run goat run, I am going to get you!
Those baby goats are faster than you think!
I think I got him!
Look at this white one I got!
I let the white one go and am back to the chase!
A couple more feet and I will have him or her!
Success!
I liked to hold the goats too, but I still needed a little help!
All of us kids headed over to the goat pins to check out the babies in there.
They were a little easier to catch in the pin since they could run away from me!
I got to hold a bunch of different ones.
Rhyder from my pre-k class came out with us to join in the fun!
After we played with the goats we headed out to play on the toys at Kerrie's house and had a picnic lunch! I had so much fun chasing after and holding those baby goats!
