One last quick trip to Prineville!

 August 1, 2015
We are headed to Prineville this morning to go and visit Daddy.  He asked us to pick some peaches to bring and share with the people in his office.  We had so many peaches this year that we had a lot of fun sharing them with people.  Unfortunately, we had so many peaches this year it caused some of the branches to brake.
I see a perfect peach under there that I want to pick!
Look at these peaches.  The hardest part is choosing which one should I eat?
It was so fun to get to actually pick a bunch of peaches.  The good thing about the branches braking is that the peaches were at my leave to pick!
I got some good ones to eat!
We each picked one peach to eat fresh off the tree.  Peaches are very messy and don't come out of clothes easily, so, mom gave us some napkins to wear!
Nothing like a nice big bite of a fresh picked peach!
 We love our fruit trees!
One of the best parts of the summer is the fresh fruit!
As mom was getting the last things in the car, we thought we would put on our own rodeo.  I hope my horse named McKenzie doesn't buck me off!
We can sure have fun together at times!
We had a fun drive to Prineville.  As we were going along we asked mom to put on our VBS songs.  She looked in the mirror and saw me dancing like crazy in my seat.  She had to get a video of it.  If you ever need a smile then just watch this video and it will put a smile on your face.
McKenzie got in on the dancing too.  Here is her doing the robot!
We made it to Prineville and decided to walk to dinner.  We thought we would try the Tasty Freeze for dinner, which, is a local hamburger diner and ice cream store.
We always love to sit in a booth and this was even more exciting because it sparkled!
I am so excited for my food!
Daddy got a butterscotch malt for us to share!
 It was sure yummy!
I thought that the malt should have just been for me, instead of the three of us!
It was sure a fun dinner!
As we walked back to the hotel, we walked past this little park and wanted to check it out.
I had fun playing in the little tree house!
We had fun on the teeter totter.  McKenzie tried to help me bounce high!
I loved the spring horse!  He could really get going.
Daddy and I had fun on the teeter totter together!
The riding horse was my favorite!
McKenzie loved the horse so much that I thought I would give it a try!
 Peek-a-boo!
I wanted to try the rock climbing wall!  I made it to the top!
While McKenzie took on the rock wall, I had dad take me over to swings.  We had a fun evening in Prineville.

VBS parents night!

July 31, 2015
On Friday night at the end of VBS, they do a parents night at our church.  That way the parents can see what we have been doing all week long.  We start off by all going up on stage to sing the songs that we have learned through out the week!  I was excited to go up onto the stage and sing, Makayla on the other hand, decided she was not so excited to go up onto the stage.
The face only got sadder and sadder as I told mom I didn't want to be up there.  Don't worry, mom didn't make me stay!
It was so fun to get to be on stage and sing!
All the songs had motions that went with them.  It was fun to get to do the motions too.
The battery on mom's camera died, so, she had to start using her phone and the pictures weren't as clear.  That face is a lot better.  I got over being sad very quickly once I was off the stage and with my mom!
I had fun worshiping and singing the song in mom's lap.
This is what I thought of the volume of the music.
We love the music at VBS.  Every year we buy the songs, so, we can learn them.  Then we ask mom all year long to play them when we are driving in the car.
It was so great to get to catch up with Marie this week!
How is my smile?  That is a little intense and a little crazy!
There we go that is better!
This is Mr. Donnie!  He does an amazing job teaching the 2's and 3's class for VBS.  I had a lot of fun in his class.  Can't you tell by the look on my face!?!
Afterwards, they do a pie social and baptism.  We had fun hanging out and playing with friends.  It was another fantastic VBS this year!

VBS!

August 27-31, 2015
VBS week has arrived and I am so excited!  I love VBS!  This will my 6th VBS and I am sure it is going to even better than the rest!  This years theme is Kingdom Rock, where we learned how God helps us to stand strong!
Mom took some pictures of us before we left the house.  I am going to be in the pre-k class again this year, Makayla is going to be in the 2's and 3's class, and mom is going to be teaching 4th grade!
This was the best picture mom was able to get of Makayla.  She wasn't so into taking pictures this morning.  It must still be early!  We had a fantastic first day learning how God's love helps us stand strong through Psalm 23.  Everyday we got to learn a new a new bible verse.  Today's verse was "I love you, Lord; you are my strength" (psalm 18:1).
Day two has arrived and we headed up to mom's classroom to make sure it was set up for the day.  Mom thought we would take our picture in front of today scripture that she had on the wall.  Today's scripture was, "so encourage each other and build each other up"  1 Thessalonians 5:11.  Today, we learned about how family and friends help us stand strong through the story of Esther.
Since the theme was kingdom rock, we thought we would put on some of our pretty dresses and look the part of being princess of God!
A picture of me by myself.  Day 2 at VBS was a blast.
I had fun in my class.  I wasn't so sure about being away from mom, but there were lots of wonderful teachers in my class who loved on me and helped me have a great time!
After VBS today, we stayed for lunch with our friends.  It was nice to get to catch up with friends, since, we have been gone a lot this summer!
Day three and we are still going strong!  Today's bible verse was, "Don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything" Philippians 4:6.  Today, we learned about how prayer can helps us stand strong through the story of Nehemiah rebuilding the walls around Jerusalem.
We had big smiles for mom today!
Do our faces show how much we love VBS week!
Day 4 and we still have so much to learn about God!  The bible verse for today is, "Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock" Isaiah 26:4.  Today, we learned how trusting God helps us to stand strong through the death of Jesus Christ.
We are getting the hand of our morning pictures.
You just got to love this face!
What do you think of my new friend that I met at VBS?
Every year we love to get our picture with Kerrie, our amazing children's leader, who is in charge of this fantastic VBS.  We then print off the pictures and put it onto the huge picture board she has in her office!
It is fun to go into her office and see the pictures of us together through out the years.  I change every year and look older, but Kerrie looks the same!
It is a tradition that we started with McKenzie, but I want get in on the tradition too!
Nothing like my cheesy grin!
Here is our Friday morning VBS picture.  Mom went to work today and dad is in Prineville, so, Hannah came to watch us and get ready for VBS.  Hannah happens to be our neighbor, so, this morning after she got us ready for VBS we headed to her house to help her clean up her front yard which got TP'd.  We thought it was great fun, Hannah not so much!
After VBS, we got to help clean up Mrs. Stephanie's room (Hannah's mom).  We sure had a wonderful week at VBS learning how to stand strong for God.  Today's bible verse was "your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path" Psalm 119:105.  We learned how the bible helps us stand strong through the story of King Josiah.  We can't wait for next years VBS.

The doomed bike ride

July 25, 2015
We had so much fun biking in Sunriver that we tried to keep it going when we got home.  During the week we biked to the church to get ready for VBS next week.  This Saturday, we thought we would go on a family bike ride on the Sacramento River trail from the dam to the train tunnel.  We brought my bike for me to ride around a little bit before we went on our bike ride.
I was excited to get to ride my bike on the trail!
Look at me go!  I got this balance thing down, as long as, I leave one leg down!
Mom thought she would get some pictures of me on my bike by the river while we waited for dad to get his bike and the bike stroller set.
We are off and I am so excited!
Look at me in my sweet ride!  We are off for some fun!

July 26, 2015
Well, one thing can be said is we sure had an adventure.  As I was riding along, mom noticed I was having trouble steering my bike, then she looked at my tire and it was going flat.  Daddy took my bike back to the truck, since, we had not gotten very far and I got into the stroller with Makayla, so, we could continue on our journey.  I took my bike tire going flat like a champ and Daddy said,  "he would show me how to fix it tomorrow".
One flat tire wasn't enough for this fun family outing.  As we were biking along all of the sudden Daddy's tires quickly goes flat.  At that point, we decided to take our losses and turn around before we get to the train tunnel.  We walked back to the truck and headed home.  We were able to repair my tire, but Dad's tube busted open at the stem and couldn't be repaired.  Thanks dad for teaching me how to repair my bike tire.  Hopefully our next family bike ride will go better!
