Good morning to all and Happy Thanksgiving! This is my first Thanksgiving where I get to eat more than just milk and boy am I excited! This holiday sounds fantastic. What could be better then a holiday where you get to eat and eat and eat. I love to eat!
I had fun playing peek-a-boo with the fire place. Don't worry Grammy and Granpy didn't have any other their fire places going while we were there, so they were sure fun to hide behind!
Normally it is Granpy or Daddy or Uncle Scott who ends up on the ground with all of us on them, but Grammy ended up on the ground and we quickly flocked to her and got her. I was really excited that my cousins, Sydney, Tyler, and Wyatt got here! I love cousin time!
Doing a little hanging out with Sydney and Wyatt. We watched the Macy's Day parade for a little bit actually not very long, but we are now in the Thanksgiving day spirit.
I was happy to have Granpy walk me around the house!
It was time to make the stuffing and get the turkey into the oven. We all took turns helping make the stuffing and stirring the bowl!
Now it is Tyler turn to help. I am sure the stuffing turned out better than ever with all the help that Grammy and Aunt Helen got!
While the big kids were helping make stuffing, I found Uncle Scott to hangout with!
Since it was another sunny day in Longview, we decided to all head to the park again. This time it was with my cousins and Granpy came too this time.
Tyler and I wanted to ride on the saucer together!
All of us wanted to get on the saucer at the same time. Well, all except Makayla who was probably busy sliding!
Aunt Sarah got in the car for one crazy ride. She sure is a fun and brave aunt!
After everybody got out, I got a turn to ride in the car!
Aunt Helen spotted me while I climbed up the tall ladder!
I wanted to climb the rocks again today. I am such a brave little girl. This time mommy went up with me to help me along!
After naps, it was time for Thanksgiving dinner. We got to sit at the kids table and were sure excited about it. Look at the yummy food on our plates! Don't worry I got the traditional black olives to eat! It wouldn't be thanksgiving without black olives.
Wyatt ate at the big table!
I sure liked my Thanksgiving day feast! The turkey was yummy. I got some sweet potato and gravy. I was a big fan of gravy on my turkey. I even liked the pickled beets that I tried, which surprised everybody there. Grammy and Aunt Helen love them, so they were on the table and McKenzie asked what they were and wanted to try them. She actually liked them too. Once I saw her trying them, I wanted to try them myself. We are so silly in what we eat.
Since it was thanksgiving, I got to have a black olive to eat off of my thumb!
Those black olives were yummy! I kept shoveling all my food in! Yep! It is official, I am a big fan of Thanksgiving!
After dinner, we even got to have pie for dessert! I got to have a small piece of apple and chocolate. I liked the chocolate pie the best, but the apple was sure good!
Sydney and I had fun eating our pie together!
Wyatt had to finish his dinner before he got pie! He is busy working on getting it done.
Tyler seems to be savoring every bite of his pie right up to the very last bite!
A bed time story with Grammy before we headed to bed and all the grown-ups when out black Friday shopping. None of the grown-ups went out black Friday shopping on either Thursday or Friday, what a boring group!
