butterfly garden

June 27, 2013
The butterfly garden has been open at Turtle Bay, so, we decided to head there and meet up with some friends.  Here we are waiting for our friends to come!
We went to little explores first and then headed to the butterfly garden.  Here we are all ready to walk down there!
I love Hannah!  She does such a great job taking care of us little girls.  She walked me down to the garden.
Shiloh and I found this turtle to sit on while in the butterfly garden!  We are all smiles!
I found another turtle to sit on.  Here I am trying to get on this one!
There were lots of beautiful butterflies and pretty flowers for them to land on.
You weren't allowed to touch the butterflies, but they had some dead ones that you could hold.  I got brave enough to hold one.  I held my hand out flat to receive one.
There is the butterfly that I got to hold!
Shiloh and I both got one to hold!
Collin and Sienna took a turn holding them and I showed them how to put your hands out flat.
After we visited the butterfly garden, we went and had a picnic lunch together.  Then we all went and watched the animal show together.  It was sure a fun morning at Turtle Bay with my friends!
After I woke up from my nap, I did a little bit of rolling around out in the living room.  I rolled myself right under my sister's red table and found a container of Play-doh!  I was quite proud of myself for what I found.
Now how do I get this open and play with it.  McKenzie has so much fun playing with Play-doh, I think that I should play with it too.
Mommy told me I couldn't play with the Play-doh yet, so she set me up and gave me my pink dog to play with.  I thought it was a pretty good trade!
Scout and I had a great time laying around together.  We have taught each other how to lay!

Mom and Dad's Anniversary

June 25, 2013
Today is Mommy and Daddy's 8th wedding anniversary, so Makayla and I decided to be super sweet to each other.  We were hanging out before we headed to church for mommy's Tuesday morning prayer group.
We sure did crack each other up.  It was actually colder and rain today, so, we had to dig into the closet and pull out some warm clothes.
While mommy went up stair with the girls, we got to play down stair with all the kids.  At the end we got to watch a little bit of a movie.
I snuggled right in with Sienna and Collin to watch the show.
That evening, Collin and Sienna's parents so graciously watched us girls while they went out on a date to celebrate.  We had such a wonderful time playing over there.  Shelley took some fun pictures of us and shared them with mommy!  Here we all are hanging out on the couch.
They have a piano that I wanted to play.  The cool thing about their piano is that is also plays itself.  That is pretty amazing.
We had fun playing some music.  Sienna helped me play the little piano.  I sure do love music!
Sienna and I had a great time together.  She is such a sweet girl.  Collin wanted to come over and say hi.  I got his face!
It was sure a fun evening at Sienna and Collin's house.  Mommy and Daddy were very thankful for the opportunity to go out and celebrate!  Thanks for having us!

Family Camp 2013

July 21-23, 2013
I am so excited, because, it is my first family camp.  I have heard how much fun family camp is and it finally arrived.  We went to Mountain Meadows this year, which is a church camp, about 50 minutes east of Redding.  Here I am hanging out with Daddy having a cup of coffee.  Well Daddy is having a cup of coffee, I am just hanging out.
I had a blast playing with all my friends.  I love to play with my friends.  I am already ready to leave my mommy and daddy and go off and play and eat with friends.  Here I am with my friend Kelli playing ring around the rosy.  We all fell down.
Sydney had fun coming over and playing with me.
This is Rachel.  I think that Rachel is the coolest person on the plant.  While we were planning family camp, we would go over to her house and she played with me while all the adults would go plan.  I got so excited when I got to go and play.  I was excited that she was there!
Rachel's mom found a caterpillar and brought it to show me.  I got brave and wanted it to crawl on my hand.  It was quite exciting to let to crawl on me!
Daddy and I examined it while it crawled onto a stick.
At lunch time, I got to go and hang out with Arlene.  She feed me a food pouch, which she was pretty impressed with since she had never seen one before.  We had a lot of fun together!
After lunch, it was time to play some games.  There was a big game of kick ball.  Daddy and I got to kick the ball and run around the bases.  Then it was our turn to play out in the field.  Here we are waiting for the ball to come our way.
The sprinklers came on in the meadow that we were playing in and I had fun playing in them.  I would try to step on the water, which, made it spray everywhere.  It helps with our balance to have your tongue stick out.
Here it comes again!  I am ready for it to get me!
While everybody played games, and Mommy and Daddy filled up water balloons, I got to take a nice nap with Auntie Jana!  I slept so nicely outside in the shade!
We had a water balloon toss.  Hannah took me under her wing and showed me how to play!  We started out close and moved a little bit further away, but not to much.  It was fun to play the water balloon game with Hannah.
After all the water balloons were popped, Hannah, Sierra and I had fun playing and sitting in the grass.
The big girls holding us little girls.  We sure do love the big girls.
It wouldn't be a family camp without a picture with me and Kerrie!
At the camp they have this water slide.  Everybody was going down it and I kept telling Daddy that I wanted to go.  I couldn't go down with somebody and had to go by myself, but I said I really wanted to go.  I put my puddle jumper on and Mommy went down before me to catch me and Daddy took me up to put me in and I went down.  Mommy thought that Daddy would put me down closer to the bottom, but I started with about 3/4 of the slide to go. I got to the bottom and wasn't so sure and said I got some water in my ear, but the rest of my time I was very proud of myself for doing it.
Here I am going quickly down the slide!
I had to get in on my family camp picture with Kerrie.  We got to hang out and cheer McKenzie on while she went down the slide!
I got a pretty piece of grass to use as a hair tie for my ponytail.  Here I am hanging out with with Beth.  We had a wonderful time at family camp this year.  We can't wait until next year!

Happy Father's Day

June 16, 2013
Happy Father's Day.  Today is father's day and the look on my face says about how well our father's day went.  It was not one of my better days and I did not make my daddy's father's day very special.  I guess we all have our bad days.  I did color him a pretty picture in the cute card that I found him.  Happy Father's day Daddy.  I really do love you lots and think you are a great Daddy!
Mommy wanted to get a cute picture of Daddy with his two girls, but this is the best that she got.  At least we are all looking at the camera.
The fun activity of the day was changing the drain plug that broke on the sink in mommy and daddy's bathroom.  I was a very good helper.  I know Daddy's father's day wasn't too fun, but you can't feel too sorry for him because he did get to go fishing on the Saturday before and the Monday after!  We love you daddy!

Swimming in my pool!

June 15, 2013
Today while I was napping, mommy blew and filled up my pool/water park.  I was so excited to go in it when I saw it all ready for me!  Here I am getting in to try it out.
There is a little slide going into my pool and I had so much fun sliding down it!
Not only was it fun to slide down the slide, but the blow up whale had a blast going down the slide.
Daddy was out fishing and mommy was trying to keep both of us happy.  I was very content to get to swing while McKenzie swam.  I was all giggles when mommy would push me!
I really love my swing.  I can swing for hours if I am allowed.
 Back and
 forth!
I don't think you could get a happier look on my face!
 Or my face!
I liked sitting in the little wading pool area.  There were sprinklers that would get you while you were in there.
Nobody wants to swim alone, now I have some friends keeping me company.
It was in the evening that I went swimming, but it was still 90 degrees.  I was shivering and had goose bumps all over, but I still didn't want to get out.
Finally, mommy convinced me to get out of the pool to have a little dinner.  We quickly put on my pj's and wrapped me in my towel to get me warm.  Here I am having a little dinner outside in my purple chair.

 June 30, 2013
It was another warm one here in Redding, in fact it was the hottest day of the year so far (116 degrees).  No better way to cool yourself off than to get into the water.  It was so warm today that even mommy got in to cool herself off!
I wanted to have a little water while I sat in my pool.  All that playing make a girl thirsty.  Daddy got some water squirts at the store the other day and I had a blast squirting them.
Another way to cool off is to have a cool treat.  Daddy and I tried some frozen yogurt pops.  There were sure yummy!
That evening after the shade covered the pool, I got to get my swim suit on and go in the pool!  I sure thought it was a lot of fun.  I would splash my hands around and the water would splash up.  It was like a big refreshing bath!
Here is mom and I hanging out in the pool.  She got in again because I guess I am not big enough yet to go in by myself.  I can't wait to go in the pool again!
